I haven't seen the anime yet, but I noticed from screenshots that events from chapter 47 is already being shown in episode 4. Did they skip a shit ton of the manga?

Yeah, they skipped the entire start with Nozomi finding out about Keijo, meeting Miyata, having all the tests, etc. They went straight into the Keijo school life and tournament between the East and West school.

Well, I think the anime want to jump right to Keijo Races instead a long period of entry training and tests. They may make this in OVA.

The only thing scarier is that they apparently really thought about things and gave legitimate reasons for a lot of their powers. I mean, there's no way a wedgie would make your butt glow, but it is certainly conceivable that it would create a minor improvement in your ability to use your hip and glute muscles, giving you an edge. Combine that with throwing out all the stops and pushing those muscles to the brink in crunch time and it's conceivable that she could show a surprising sudden increase in speed relative to what she'd shown before. And as I said before, soft materials are regularly used for both improvement of both weapons and armor, due to the effects such softness has on both force distribution and deceleration. Naturally. Besides, I never said everything made sense or that I expected it all to in the future. I just thought it impressive that they made effort to make at least a number of techniques look legit, even if we have shining butts, mind-control boobs and a twerk that can destroy every swimsuit in a hundred-foot radius.

Usagi Tsukishita is voiced by Minami Tanaka best known for her role as Minami in Wake Up Girls.

Kotone Fujisaki is voiced by Shizuka Ishigami known for her role as Syr from Danmachi.

Kyouko Shirayuki is voiced by Masumi Asano recently known for her role as Minami Kaido / Cure Mermaid from Go Princess Precure.

ok, while overal i liked the action of today episode in general i really disliked the "changes" mande from the manga, how was showed the "bl" love of the dog butt girland others minor things and the "aoba "pass exam" and the hypno tit girl" that parts i really don't liked what they did here, mangas was really much better, that where my let down of this episode and maybe probable for the whole serie(all the "changes" we get and gonna get).

well still a very good episode i will give it 7 for the whole fun crazyness, keijo is really a good serie and could be much better if not was for the "changes".

My reaction to the first few seconds after the OP: "wtf are these gay dudes doing in my boob and butt anime?"

I think this was the most wtf episode yet. Titty hypnosis was too much but I think this ass with a mind of its own beats those boobs. Did she steal one of cerberus' heads and fix it in her butt or something? Her butt moved on its own and was super strong. What a fearsome ass. But Nozomi's ass was equally terrifying with the ability to create a god damn vacuum! I love how they can come up with innovative ways to use the butt and boob in each battle. All four girls are now elitists. It was forbidden to hypnotize anyone with your boobs in this school because the girls are just amateurs so the match was considered Aoba's victory because she managed to drive Kusakai into a corner which forced her to use her oppai to hypnotize them. There's something going on about this school wanting to defeat the east which is probably a rival school and the vacuum butt cannon can become their secret weapon. The fat sensei wants to use those talented butts to win. Now the next episode will have a butt missile girl because why not.

At the risk of sounding like a pervert, personally, I'd say something of a happy medium between the two, maybe a bit more on the side of soft, but with some firmness as well.

That idiot seems to act like other animated shows/movies/etc. DON'T try to make girls look younger too and/or make younger girls look older/more mature, and also seems to forget that the US itself has live-action "reality" shows that literally do feature underage girls, like those pointless pageant shows, getting all dressed up in various ways.

@Both: Looking back a few pages of discussion, I can't help thinking that certain subsets of people have really overreacted to Keijo, and indeed media in general. Not to get too much into politics, but, both of you have very valid points. I support equality in terms of things like pay and social status for women, but, I also support freedom of expression unless said form of expression either harms someone in its production (i.e. REAL child porn), or poses an honest, serious threat directed against a person or group (Youtube and Twitter comments generally don't count as serious). The fact that you don't like it doesn't give you the right to censor it. This applies for them too, they can say they want it censored, but we also have just as much right to oppose them. In general, I oppose censorship and legislation of social morals, whether the people who want to do so are politically on the right or part of the "authoritarian left" that have cropped up on the internet recently.

Also, I don't get the idea of where sex appeal is automatically sexist. Yes, exploitation and objectification does exist, but, I don't know about you, but I can be physically attracted to someone, in real life and in anime, while still acknowledging that they are a person.

Also, quite frankly, I think Keijo is definitely ecchi, but it's so self-aware, that I'd call it a parody on many of the tropes of both the ecchi, sports, and shounen genres. Honestly, while the girls definitely are sexually attractive, I found it more funny than sexy, and quite frankly, this self aware sense of humor is the only reason I stayed with it this long. If it was just pure fanservice, I probably would have dropped it a long time ago.

Agreed. The only way to get rid of absolutely all "objectification" would be to get rid of all attraction, and that won't happen since attraction is a part of our motivations, especially romantic motivations, even if the person we fall for is a type we thought we'd never be attracted to.

Actually, one of the biggest beefs I have with the people that argue about objectification is how one-sided they are. They'll go on and on about how Keijo objectifies women but I bet few of them had any complaints on shows that are packed with hot, wet or sweaty topless men, just like they generally don't complain about commercials and other media portraying them. For some reason men can be treated like slabs of meat and it's fine, but show off how attractive a girl is who worked hard to develop her figure and it's dehumanizing.

Anyway, great episode again. Even as they throw in stupid stuff like the butt vibe, they still keep upping the ante, making the fights more and more DBZ-esque. I just hope we never get actual energy blasts, because you know someone would post that clip on YT with special sound effects. On that note, one thing I'm sad to have thought of is whether any of the ladies thought of biological warfare, using things like smell to throw their opponents off... But then that wouldn't be sexy or even faintly respectable, so thankfully that's one move I doubt we'll have to deal with.
