Translators needed for Twin Spica

I just surfed over to Anime-Fansubs to see when they might be releasing another installment of Twin Spica, and saw this little announcement;

http://anime-fansubs.net:8008/module...article&sid=11

Crying shame if Twin Spica isn't completed, as it's one of the better series to come along last season.

I was wondering again why this series had stalled
Yet again, a truely clasic series is stalling, why there are dozens of over subbed shows being released :/
Wish I could help - I'd try giving our translator a kicking, but she's in Japan till semptember :P

Darn. If only I knew Japanese I'd offer to help out. Unfortunately they aren't in need of an editor, so I'd be useless to them.

If the group doing this series would pm me, I might be able to put them into contact with a translator I know....

Um... and we released an episode AFTER that was posted... >.>

The series is *not* stalled... people are just busy with things or being lazy right now. Though if anyone fluent in japanese would like to offer to check over the scripts and fill in holes, that might help speed things along a little.

So you guys are no longer in need of a translator, I take it? SirCane bothered me about this so I thought I'd take a look at the series heh...

I'd go ahead and contact them anyways, just to make sure.

(Man, no one ever thinks of offering assistance to us, do they...)

You should let more people know you need help, like mention it in an update or smth... No one will think of helping unless you yell out that you need it.

It's generally implied that every single fansub group needs help in the translator department, so it's redundant to make posts that say as such.

I know you folks at A-F have lives and such, and that your release schedule is somewhat akin to AC, and I saw nothing in your forums that followed up to the blurb posted on your main page.
Glad to hear things are still going forward with Twin Spica, just folks like me are getting a little anxious with the slew of anime licenses recently. Not being able to get a TwinS fix for over a year if it were picked up isn't something I want to contemplate :-/
