Also if I got the names right, the one who showed everyone (that includes goth girl sama) the place to get out of a slump was him. TbH i'm surprised he isn't the Senior Key animator instead(or are there more than one and they just never said that?) But yeah i doubt Ema would have taken a a walk with him - at least we know where he goes right in the middle of the day from time to time now. Ema mimiking the cat made me laugh a bit, btw.

I noticed the official website stated Tarou will be the PA for the last ep of Exodus!... I don't know what would be the plot there.

I guess he's not any higher in the food chain because of slowdown due to age. He's still clearly doing a great job, but no one can stop the aging process and he's probably not nearly the best animator there any longer. Has left a mark on the staff though. In the end the right person stepped in and Ema should be fine. She needed someone that would kind of just drag her off .

Ep 08
That was actually a really nice ep, but also very realistic in the way Ema had her situation resolved - both the advice for how to improve one's skills was realistic and practical and the advice on taking a breather when stuck. Maybe not every workplace allows for such a thing, but if it does taking a little walk or a breather or even. 7th inning stretch and just stopping yourself sometimes is wonderful for getting a second wind or a new perspective. And it is easy to say but not always easy to do or even to remember to do.

That scan shows they know who's the popular ones so far.
Glad Ema got the help she needed. The old guy wasn't the one, I blame this on the generation gap. The older generation can be motivated by the finish line. The current generation needs help to find the right size of shoe to run with. The last few episodes have been alright but not as doki-doki as Ep 3 (god knows how many times I watched that, just to watch Aoi go crazy. ). Hopefully they're conserving to serve up an epic production of Ep 13. |

I wasn't realy around this foru a lot in recent weeks so it might come bit late, but I was wrong about this show, it's by no means cute girls do cute things. And while main characters doesn't realy work with me (aside of Sakaki), but they at least don't distract and their PoV does good job for audience surrogate and let shine other more awesome characters.
and Nyan type wins for me. Segawa should get more spotlights...

They can't - so they live in squalor, sometimes 3-4 to a one room, 17 square meter apartment. That's why you saw a kickstarter earlier this year to set up dorm housing for animators in the TV industry.

Episode 6 is getting the High Score Girl treatment. I can't believe Tomino/Bandai/Sunrise/whoever would have a problem with Idepon when Haganai got away with much worse ("UNIVERSE!").
