I've got some new info on one of the Railgun Special feature Light Novels: this one is from the 5th Railgun manga. Set some time after the end of the Level Upper arc. Not written by Kamachi Kazuma, but it is supervised by him.
Author: 成田良悟 Summary: Spoiler:

I think Gunha might replace Touma as my favorite character if I can just know MORE about him! I wanna read all about him TT.TT But epic ability he has- he is a true gemstone esper it looks like. But it's too bad Gunha doesn't know a certain idiot... But the meeting between two heroic personalities might destroy the world from sheer heroicness (Sorry, I'm not making any sense, am I?) |

Of course, there will be those who claim otherwise, but in my world, it can be considered canon. |

I'll add a few more bits:
Title of the story in chinese is 伪典•某自动贩卖机的存在证明 Almost nothing about the 6th Level 5 of Academy City is known to the general public, not even his/her ability name when the other Level 5s abilities such as Dark Matter or Mental Out is at least common knowledge. The 7th Level 5 (ie Sogiita Gunha) is the same, but this is only due to his ability being near-undefinable. People do know Gunha is supposedly really powerful, whereas the No.6 being powerful or not isn't even known. |

Or in Japanese, it's "Toaru Jihanki no Sonzai Shoumei (とある自販機の存在証明)" or "A Certain Vending Machine's Proof of Existence".
I'll be adding these info to the Wiki. Thanks for the contribution. :3

Continuing off from the conversation in Episode 3 Discussion...
I too find a more visual method appealing in cases that deal with anime, but TAMNI is a gem among series in my opinion; I just can't pass on the knowledge as well.

Okay, I will admit that I get motion sick when watching moving images. So I enjoy the text version of the novel much better.
The anime is good if you're looking for an overview/feel of the Index verse- The manga provides a lot of humor, and a lot more of the information, but with only simple images. The Light Novel is where 90% of all Index technical information comes from :sweatdrop: |

Exactly my point; I want to know everything there is to know on the subject.
Moving images and queasiness? I can't imagine what an anime like BRS would do to your stomach.

I laughed when I heard of Gunha, since he immediately came across to me as that wannabe heroman who saves the day.
But he's actually cooler than that, I'll admit. Still really irks me when I try and decipher his powers though. Gemstones irritate me.
