There are 13 scheduled for release on TV. There are 7 volumes for the BluRay/DVD, with probably 2 episodes per BluRay/DVD. So volume 7 either only has 1 episode, or it might contain a bonus OVA, but as far as I know, nothing has been confirmed.

And then the end of the Civil Officers will begin. First the Civil Officers will be hated by the public more than they already are, and given equal treatment as the CC - if not worse, since they're human and they're 'helping monsters to destroy humans' - and there will be movement to abolish the Civil Officer position altogether. This will make it it even harder for the Civil Officers to do their job, because even the people themselves are showing resistance, and all it takes is just one unlucky bullet to kill them.

Then the Civil Officers will start hating on Kentarou, because it is his actions who give them a bad name and cause all sorts of unnecessary trouble on them. Some of them will want to take revenge, either not caring for the consequences or thinking that his death will relieve things back to 'normal'. He will unnecessarily put his family and friends in danger, and you'll be REALLY stupid to think that Kentarou can stop all the ambushes and surprises and attacks by himself.

Even the government and higher ups might decide that Kentarou is a threat and put a bounty on his head, since he's shown himself to be a threat to normal civilians. Now that's one shit of a worst case scenario NO ONE wants to risk.

And what will happen to Kentarou's reputation, and everyone associated with him? Genju's dream of a normal life will be literally over. She will be hated and hunted ALWAYS because of his impulsive action, and for what? Hurting a couple of people who deserve it, and risk the worst kind of social disaster he can ever imagine?


And about your last statement? There's at least one person who can beat Kentarou as easily as cutting tofu, right beside him too. Your assumptions are childish, without thought, and if you're a person in this series you're just the same as those thoughtless terrorist who bombed a classroom of children.

as far as I know almost all of the citizens in tokyo area hate the cursed children

and NO rentarou isn't what you think he is and he's not as strong as you think This is why I hate the anime adaptation
it doesn't portray the LN well

Considering he should have gone through more experiences than Rentarou, considering he is after all, an adult who lived longer than him, which means he had seen much more than him, then yeah, I can't really call him insane.

If Kagetane for example was similar to Rentarou in the past, then after going through a lot of similar experiences of what we saw today, then he pretty much has a legit reason to massacre the humanity.
