But yeah with Pierrot showing quite few characters who won't appear up till like episode 12 is kinda of unnerving without an episode count confirmation. Most PV usually only show scenes from like the first 5 episodes...

PVs aren't exactly reliable source of information,there is always possibility that they animated these scenes solely for the purpose of putting them in trailer.Like they did with Attack on Titan.

You know I always forget Hinami's blonde or dirty blonde or at least light brown haired because she always has her hair just shaded black in the manga. It's gona be weird trying to adjust.

I thought Tsukiyama's hair was brown for the longest time until colored art of him came out... (even now, I can't quite figure out if it's blue or purple due to a little color blindness)

Yeah I think it's like Indigo, it's blueish purple with highlights in lighter shades... Sui changes the color slightly every illustration for a lot of the character's hairs unless it's like pure black or white. He likes to 'have fun' with his coloring I guess.
I don't know I always default to it being dark brown too, which I think works better. (in my head)

I would get a physical release just for the art of the cover. It looks really good.

The art makes Touka kinda look like Tokaku from Akuma no Riddle a little.

The anime designs are actually very faithful to the manga designs. I'm impressed. If they can capture the expressions and fight sequences as well, this could end up looking like one of the best animated shows of the season.

I really hope they don't fuck this one up. There's so much potential for a fantastic adaptation and they definitely aren't short on material to adapt either. There's almost 200 chapters at this point and a LOT of story to cover. This could run for 50 episodes no filler if they wanted.

Only 132 chapters out. They really couldn't do 50 episodes.

2 cour to do the 8 volumes and leave things at the turning point just looks like the best way to go and I think they'll do that.

132? I must have been thinking of another series. Still, there's plenty of material to work with. It depends on how fast they want to go through it, I suppose.
