I hope for 25 eps. on this one with 2012 bleach tier action scenes
Kazuhiro Miwa as animation director probably means we'll get even better action scenes

Although I prefer her dress from the manga version of this scene, I agree.

Actually I think finishing the Aogiri arc would be the best thing Pierrot could do as it presents the best closure point narratively. It shouldn't be too difficult to do as Tokyo Ghoul's chapters are short enough that you could put 3-4 of them per episode without affecting the pacing too much.

Yeah that's what I meant but I guess I worded it pretty bad (vague). Turning point as in end of aogiri arc, just seems like the best way to do it right?

Yes, that sounds about right.

Ugh, I really hope this is two cours, but with a staff that is virtually new to tv production I really fear this has a high chance not being the case. Made even worse when you consider that the manga popular enough for such a thing.

I've been checking out the numbers lately, and it's been doing fairly well. It'll be interesting to see if it gets a boost and by how much once the anime airs.

For those of us who can't read Japanese, what do you think the blog said?

Perhaps not as popular as Naruto, but it's not doing to bad. From November 18 to May 18 of this year it sold a combined total of 1,190,902, placing in the 26th spot, one spot behind Kuroshitsuji, which is now getting it's third anime season and an OVA. Considering how many manga's and manga volumes that are out there, placing in the top 30 isn't so bad.

There's no need to hit the panic button that fast.

Yaraon's only basing that information on only 4 volumes of BD's available for order on Amazon. Like Izayoi Sakamaki said, Nisekoi did the same thing and everyone thought it's one cour in the beginning. Nowhere on the website says it's one cour.

Besides, how many 1 cour anime have you guys seen that packages 3 episodes into one BD instead of milking you for 6 BDs for 2 episodes each.

PS: I still stick by what I said in the beginning, I would still watch this even if it's one cour. For the love of god, please stop going holy shit this is worthless if it's one cour. Not everyone read the manga, if you want to whine about that go to the manga thread ffs. This is why people say manga/LN/VN-fags ruin anime for everyone with their constant "the source is better".

Since I have already prepared myself for that strong possibility, so I'm not going to be as disappointed as much if turns out to be the case. IStill going to watch it either way, but my expectations will be quite different since I'll treat as alternate interpretation (aka Arpeggio of Blue Steel anime) rather than a adaptation then.
