Hey, hey! Wouldn't you like to have someone who'd do anything out of love? I would

When "anything" stretches to "hack off my head and carry it away on a nice boat" then I'd have to say no.

So if she doesn't cut your head off but instead just kisses your shoes before introducing herself as your servent from a previous life, intimidates people who don't like you, and climbs into your apartment through the window at random hours of the night, is she a yandere or just a faux-yandere/creepy stalker?

As Meatloaf once sang, 'I would do anything for love, but I won't do THAT!'

There is nothing remotely romantic about being killed by your lover. It's the utter desecration of love. If a person really loved you, they wouldn't kill you or themselves.

And if Miss Yandere has a problem - get over it, bitch. Then give Dr. Phil or Frontier Psychiatrist a call. Or better yet, Tom Cruise. One psycho deserves another.

A few years back I had a woman approach me on the train and say "excuse me, I'm sure you get this all the time, but did you know you look like Tom Cruise?" I'd guess she was about 50.

why does this make me feel bad about never having met a yandere

and at the same time the urge to go outside (*GASP*) and find one

Because you haven't seen enough of the bitchy proportion of the female persuasion, my boy. Once you do, you'll change your tune very quickly. Don't get it into you head that just because someone is female, they're awesome. Women are just as capable as men of being evil and ruining your life. Anyone can be warped. Anyone can be tainted and turn bad. The thrill of something dangerous/forbidden may sound fun in fantasy/fiction. In reality, it rarely is.

They're not abnormal, they just feel and express their love in a more intense way then the rest of us. If anything that's a virtue...

All the yandere talk reminds of the Yandere no Onna no ko ni Shinu Hodo Aisarete Nemurenai CD (ヤンデレの女の子に死ぬほど愛されて眠れないCD, "Not Being Able to Sleep Because of being Loved to Death by a Yandere Girl CD") series. Here are two English subbed videos of one of the characters:

There's a flaw in your plan. You don't find a yandere. They find you.

There's one behind you right now. Don't look, that will only make her angry that you didn't 'trust her love'. XD

That feeling of cold, intense horror is how you know she loves you.
