Something kinda similar to School Days

I've recently watched School Days which was recommended in one of my earlier posts, and it was exactly what I was looking for! in a way. I dont think I've ever cried so much in my life!! but it wasnt tears of sadness rather than tears of hate and "shocked-ness". It had exactly what I was looking for and now im hoping to find another anime with the same "shock-factor" but to less of an agressive level. any suggestions?

School days always takes its toll

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien kinda does the job, and it isn't aggressive as school days. Actually, school days is the most sick i've ever seen so far.

Myself;Yourself: It actually contains a lot of drama, but it isn't sick at all(No blood fests). The drama is "pure" in some way, and you won't hate any characters, unlike that dick of school days. It has a good ending, but you may drop some tear while watching it.

Anyways, you won't hate anyone more than that male asshole of school days, just to say. Oh, Myself;yourself isn't exactly shocking; actually, it is not, but some themes might touch you. It's a drama. With good ending. Look, pick up the first title i gave you, and save M;Y as last resort.

Elfen Lied & H20: Footprints in the Sand has the answers you're looking for, the things that happened in the anime (especially with the heroines) made me sick to my stomach.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni has plenty of shocking scenes. Oh, and a great story.

Also, seconding Elfen Lied.

Texhnolyze is great if you want something sad and shocking. The first episode has the protagonist's limbs chopped off. It gets worse from there and is utterly depressing later on.

The only thing I can think of in terms of sheer shocking goryness would be Elfen Lied.

Clannad would be good for you. Just try to bear with the ugly character designs.
