Yes!! Give me my Kaede and Sia endings instead of the crappy Asa ending that I'm almost 100% certain will occur. (Note the almost, I'll never give up hope).

Ok, my answer is no. Main reason : There already IS an official ending. Which means that essentially all other endings are more or less discredited.
Plus, the way the anime has turned means that they have to make MANY episodes for one ending, since they have to change the plot to fit the new ending. Ok, Kaede's will be easy since it was the last arc, not THAT much to change. Sia's comes second since there is a strong story behind it, just eliminate Asa from the episodes and focus on Sia. But for the other girls, it's gonna take a lot of work and if they don't want to work the alt. endings out well, it's going to be major crap.

But to be on-topic, I think they should atleast do an alternate ending with a Kaede ending since she also is very popular atleast here.

I would actually be okay with the semi cop-out ending of Rin calling all the girls together (obviously to tell them who he had picked) and... fade to white.

Leaving it open is best, in harem animes. Having one girl definitively win is kinda crap, even if it's the one I wanted to.

However, I'd like to have a bit more lead up to a given girl winning... at least 3 or 4 episodes where she's really kicking ass as far as getting close to the player... er... I mean Rin.

Unless you're going to do a hentai one, there's no point in screwing up the official ending. Other series have done something similiar, and it was just horrible story writing if you have to please the fans, rather than focus on telling your story.

Regardless of who Rin picked, I've been against alternat ending OVA's from the very beginning of when the idea circulated this forum. I don't want that for ANY harem series. Even when my favorite characters didn't make it.

How about instead, do OVA's based on how the other girls move on with their lives, or somehow find a way to convince Asa to allow them into a polygamy relationship with Rin? Maybe it'll create it's own drama and character development from everyone?

But please God. Don't do alternate endings.

Seriously, what needs to happen is they need to move to the demon world.. or Utah... and have a polygamist's playboy dream. I think the girls like eachother enough to have a little fun.

I say, with Kaede and Asa cooking, nothing could go wrong.
