Not bad, but I would have liked it better if NeNe wasn't so useless. That was disappointing.

Well, actually there wasn't an originality but I thought this director learnt well from Ghibli or Hosoda.
Since everyone can not learn always. e.g. Even Ghibli's animator can't learn from Miyazaki.

As a cat lover, the moment that in spite of she did cast a magic, Bihaku's life disappeared was very painful.
Because in reality, there isn't a valid magic just like she failed.

btw this was retitled to Majokko_Shimai_no_Yoyo_to_Nene.

Seriously though, I just wanted Nene to get at least half the attention Yoyo got, but she literally didn't do anything. They hinted she's kinda dependent on her sister but didn't do anything with the idea. She got no focus, no action and no character development whatsoever. Why even put her in the title if they were gonna sideline her so hard?

...This was surprisingly adorable! Especially love the opening "flight" animation. The story itself wasn't anything new but direction was very sure and animation fluid that I enjoyed every step of the way.
