Honestly the manga adapted the Keika parts better. The scenes were actually much more intense in the LN and the manga portrayed them well. LN sales are still getting boost with almost all volumes have sold above 50k now and Vol 1 should reach 100k eventually.

Vol 4 summary is out. Anime Ep9 is confirmed to cover the rest of the volume. Looking forward to see the flashback between Yaichi and Ika in the next episode, it should be hilarious.

Is that really all there is to Ika's motivations? Doesn't make much sense. Ginko would kill to be Yaichi's girlfriend, but she's not and plays shogi with him all the time. Why does Ika need to go so far just to play shogi with him?
