Yes, we're stretching it to 7 days to include consolation matches (e.g. 15th place match, 9th place match, etc.) and lots of exhibition matches.

What's the minimum number of votes required to submit the vote in elimination phase matches? Is it five like last year?

Looking at past results, this change makes sense as those in the losers bracket end up as losers anyways.

Erio vs Ohana huh... Well, it would be a good gauge of strength for Erio. Unless there's some hidden massive potential for Ohana that I don't know of, if Erio loses this battle I'd probably end up having a much worse year in 2012 than this year...

Other than that the other exhibitions are very interesting.
Hanasaku Iroha is the only strong series I've watched this year so it'll be good to see how it does.

Haruhi vs Ciel should give us good demographic data.
Nichijo inter-series will show us if it's an actual threat. (Some people seem to think it'll be weaker than expected.)
I'm not sure if Astorotte and Blue Exorcist share a significant voter base so I'm guessing this match will mainly see how strong they are on their own.

However what I'm even more interested in that even Ohana's match is Madoka vs Naru. I've seen both and both series share a fan base so I have no idea which way it'll go. (Both series are very weak though but that means that girls from only one of the series will enter preliminaries.)

Please let there be an exhibition match with Boku wa Tomodachi characters in later stages.

Is five still the minimum required votes for the elimination stage? I'm having a very hard time figuring out how to reach that many votes...

For most of the votes, ISML is a pretty cool story, bros, but it's about to end soon anyways

Was it really 5 last year? I'm pulling up the voting pages from 2010, and they say 8 as usual.

I think we can squeeze 7 this year, but we really can't go any lower.
