At least their graphics didn't crash again thanks to IE 10

The DIA is notoriously known for its inability to do HUMINT; relying excessively on SIGINT and open-source that even Stratfor considers them a joke as compared to the plethora of double agents CIA has, the oversimplified case analysis of thr FBI and the headless and tailless NSA.

A long rod does not indicate a MRBM. It could just be a giant phallus made to complement a gigantic gundamsque statue of KJU's grandfather.

Tell me when the FBI arrests a crossplaying Terrestial_Dream attempting to seduce GundamFan0083 for nuclear secrets. It would be interesting to see what kind of full-body investigation they conduct.

So Washington DC, NORAD/USNORTHCOM command, Naval Base Point Loma, and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam? Not a bad plan.

....

Where in....Oh Point Loma.

And if they target that location for Colorado Springs...they are going to be dissapointed as that target looks like Little Rock than anything else.

So basically the "plan" would be to take out the heads of the government (or perhaps the Pentagon, but more likely the Capitol and White House), NORAD , and the US Pacifc Fleet bases at San Diago and Pearl Harbor.

Who wants to bet that with or without a nuclear warhead any long range missile fired from NK would be shot down before even reaching Japan?

No need to.

With the convergence of US Forces, JMSDF's Kongo-class and Atago-class destroyers in the Sea of Japan, anti-missile batteries scattered everywhere on the land, and God knows what unknown US satellite weapons that might be up there, any NK missile will go down in flames quickly.

Japan already officially said they will shoot down any missiles that NK launches, test or not.

Definitively, for an all out russian nuclear onslaught; but for one puny missile (that can be targeted by several other systems for several hundred kilometers) my bet continues to be "fat chance".

I wonder what the Canucks think about NK hitting NORAD.

Actually I was also wondering how a Soviet era MR/ICBM can hope to make a hole in a mountain hardened by layers and layers of alloys and ceramics, both natural and manmade.

It seems the North Koreans have discovered how to overlay two seperate videos over eachother. We should be worried

I'm not sure. That portion seemed to imply that the North Koreans believe that their ballistic missiles will fly in a straight line across the pacific towards the US.

No, it's just drawing a line to show the target.

The main reason we are confident isn't that Japan is immune to missiles, but that NK doesn't even have the technology to even send the missile yet. Any missile that reach Japan is more likely to be accidental.

The first well awaited missile launch some months ago was a big embarrassment for NKs...

This sums it up pretty nicely. What you're dealing with in terms of modern nuclear weaponry using these rocket-based delivery system is a payload moved into the upper reaches of the atmosphere (or beyond. WoOooOoOo~), followed by a release of multiple smaller nuclear payload capable of hitting multiple targets. Weapons like this are extremely difficult to stop because past the initial launch stages it becomes very difficult to effectively stop these smaller units.

North Korea is barely at V2 Rocket stages. The kind of weapons they're trying to use don't really pose a long-range threat.

It's easy to overlook this, but North Korean WMD design lags behind the modern world severely. For a good point of reference, that satellite in the newest G.I. Joe movie is actually a real idea.
