Yeah but in later volume, Issei has second thoughts of taking Asia and Xenovia with him due to risk of weakening Rias' team.

About Issei's peerage, you guys seem to like the mainstream powers too much.
In my opinion, Issei's peerage would be:

King: Issei. I think the King piece does exist, without it the King cannot control or order the peerage, but then again Kuroka killed her master.

Queen: someone with brain more than tech, magic or power. Why? Because Issei is not as good in strategies or tactics as Rias, he needs someone to do that for him. And the author has just mentioned a couple of heroes in DxD, why not Zhu Ge Liang, Zhou Yu, Pang Tong, Si Ma Yi be Issei's queen? (Of course they're female).

Bishop: Ravel, maybe Asia or Kunou. We don't know if Yasaka had relatives or someone as strong as her yet.

Knight: Maybe Xenovia or Irina. Very likely, because if she had a child with Issei without being fallen, what would stopped her from joining his and become the first angel to be in the peerage? The second maybe male.

Rook: no one in my mind yet. The berserkers and warriors from the Norse, Hindu and Greek, this pieces will be male in my opinion. The second would be Abe, with her taming beasts and traits of rook, she would be a nice choice. (Still need level-up).

Pawn: 8 pawn for daughter/apprentice/spawn/user of Tiamat. You see, Tiamat hates Ddraig, so if Issei could absorb all Ddraig power and broke the Sacred Gear, thus allow Ddraig to be reborn (The author may has mentioned this?), they can clear the score, then end up in sex, Albion forever alone. The one who inherits Tiamat powers is the repeat of history.

I just found something interesting in Volume 12 Part 3 Issei says this

“Even if anything comes to me, I will just continue walking ahead for my dream. –To become a High-class Devil and become a Harem-King! And I also want to become the King in the Rating Game as well!”

So what would be the timeline in the story,he makes Rias king of games and then de-thrones her
or she retires and he takes her place,will we see Issei Peerage vs Rias Peerage or is that impossible

That would be pretty cool but I don't think thats possible. Even if Issei starts his own team he is obligated to continue as Rias' pawn. He can't be at 2 places at once.

Maybe an exhibition game though. Rias would be short her pawn but it wouldn't be a ranked match anyway.

There seems to be several titles or championships for Rating Games, Issei plans on taking a few of those titles for himself.

So if I become a Harem-King early, will I also burn out……? I still don’t know that, but even if I was to live for ten thousand years, and if I was to become a Harem-King in a hundred or in a thousand years, I……

Damn, I missed all the fun earlier.

From the above quotes, it's possible to think that maybe "King" and "Champion" are 2 separate titles? Of course I could be wrong, but it seems like a logical explanation since I really doubt Issei will make Rias Champion and then try to become King of the Rating Games himself unless they are separate titles.

I think its a matter of semantics, Champion refers to being the #1 team. Like winning the super bowl, world cup etc. While being the King more refers to being the top King in the rating games. I believe since the top team positions haven't changed in ten years leads to that term.
