Lovely complex?

Just finished watching lovely complex. First time watching romantic anime and I liked it. Just wondering if you guys know any romantic comedy where the characters have the same traits like the characters in lovely complex. Also if it's possible I'd prefer more comedy than romance.

Thanks.

Maybe you could tell us a bit more about what you liked so we can narrow the list a bit....

But if it is romance you are looking, i have a few suggestions. Ill separate them into drama, comedy and harem romances =D

Drama / Romance (my personal favorites)

Clannad
Air Tv
Kannon
Bokura ga Ita
Itazura na Kiss
Honey & Clover

Myself ; Yourself
True Tears
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien

Prepare some tissues if you are the sensitive kind T_T

Comedy / Romance:

Toradora
Kannagi (not much of a romance... but pretty fun to watch)
Hayate the combat buttler
Ah! My Goddess
Dears

Harem (some are drama, some are.. well just harem xD)

Shuffle
Ai yori Aoshi
Da Capo
Love Hina
Girls Bravo

I don't really know what I liked about Lovely complex, but for some reason I got hooked into it. Maybe it's because the idea of a tall girl falling for a short guy is rare, that it made me curious how the story's going to end up.

I personally disliked Lovely Complex. Had a real idiotic male lead (otani) and the series dragged on too long. The slapstick comedy was funny at the start, but then it got old and repetitive.

Definitely Ah! My Goddess! The male lead couldn't find a girlfriend because he was too short, and then a goddess fell on his head from the sky (ok, from the mirror, but it doesn't matter) who didn't care about his height and only noticed his nice personality and so on.

I liked Lovely Complex because it didn't wimp out and stop "at the confession"... it carried on with portraying the bumps and fun of *being* in a relationship and being around others in different kinds of relationships.

I also recommend Toradora! for similar reasons. You might also consider REC (short, funny, and an odd twist).

If you just like watching people get to know each other -- I recommend Spice & Wolf (or Ookami To Koushinryou for search purposes).

In that case, Bokura Ga Ita is a superior anime that "didn't wimp out" at the confession. Shows the highs and lows of being in a relationship.
