Mirai has her gem stolen and replaced with a cheap rock. I say that removes any positives. They were deceiving a girl and make her feel stupid. If they think taking the stone away helps her, they should do it honestly. There is no good reason top things the way it occurred, unless they don't give a damn about Mirai.
And as I say, it is canon that Mitsuki's older sister is EVIL. It said right there in the bibliography.

Then tell her and take the stone from her directly. Don't switch it with a worthless rock. If they feel they are in the right then they should do it publicly, not by deception. They are a rich and powerful family, what they did was dishonourable.

My thoughts exactly. If they wanted that core they should have grown a pair, made a plan and fought the HS. They didn't, Mirai did. It's only fair that she get the loot. Akihito's youmu issue is their job; The fact that Mirai subdued him too should only have added to her paycheck.

My god this episode... I am looking forward to the future developments. Hopefully even without the novel to guide it, the quality of the plot don't fall off.
I wonder what the gemstone does. All we have seen is people collect it and they can sell it for money but we haven't really been introduced to what happens afterwards. What does the gemstone allow you to do?
