I don't think this will be the last one, but I think the Magic World mega-arc might be the 2nd-to-last arc. As mentioned before, Akamatsu estimated that the manga will be around 400 chapters, and we still don't know what happened to Nagi/Arika; it'd make the story pointless if Negi never finds out.

All we can do is hope, if the editors want the manga to end it'll end and you'll have to rap it up fast. Its either a treat for showing you what the next arc will be like, a boss moment, or an allie showing up...(I doubt that tho she looks evil <.<)

I think that will mostly depend on how popular the manga is in Japan. If it's popular enough and if Akamatsu doesn't anger the editors too much, it being cut short isn't likely.

In any case, Akamatsu managed to get away with faking out his publishers by disguising his shonen epic as a harem series.

I didn't expect her to be scared of him (even though she DID look freaked out after getting sent sailing through a ton of rocks saying "he's even more powerful than I thought"...), what I did expect (and what happened) is for her to try and look cool for a moment only to get completely outclassed when Negi got a tiny bit serious.

Nevertheless, since he was originally aiming for her surrender and didn't totally flatten her outright, the door is left wide open for her and Setsuna to fight it out without her suffering the one-sided curbstomp that was a-comin' had she kept fighting Negi.

It wasn't that one sided, she got a hit in on Negi too. Yeah she caught him by surprise using a Shinmeiryu technique in the form of a kick, but his lightning rocket punch surprised her too. I agree with Negi that she probably can't beat him, but considering she didn't even seem all that hurt and was ready to keep fighting after his attacks I don't think she would have gone down easy.

It's more of Negi not going all-out rather than her not going down right away...

Yeah, basically. Had Negi went all out from the get-go, Tsukuyomi would have likely been overwhelmed.

either way, this is officialy one of the most unexpected plottwists in the series. heck, it might even BE the biggest plot twist, depending on how things go from here

....and its sure as heck the most annoying when it comes to staring at it and trying to figure out what the heck is running in the authors head. as if you could

anywya, i think this sereis has OFFICALLY lost ANY of its predictibility. no one knows where this wild ride is going. except the author.

good boys and girls, ladies and gentes of the fanbase of mahou sensei negima, i think its finally time to declare negima has officially become a wild ride fo fun.

be carefull from here on out, or you may be shaken off cause it gets too intense. this is the times where even teh big 3 could falture under a good plot like negimas is turning out to be. HANG ON FOR DEAR LIFE!!
