I agree with Iyonthal,and realy think this is the real explanation of so called true ending.You can see this from the position of Maria's hands,and that is not the position to hug someone(someone adult),but the position to take a child in hands.And second of all look at the perspective of camera,i mean hiro's point of view and you'll see he is small,i mean he is not adult.So i also think this is main story Hiro's grandson.Strange thing is that through the game the character is called "Hero",and here we see Maria calls "Hiroki" not "Hero".Maybe bad translation?

And here is the second thought,that this is the flashback of the past and this child is main story Hero/Hiroki when he fell of the tree,and Maria took care for him,so maybe this is a memory of that time.But that wouldn't tell us anything more than we already know,except she was with Hiro from the beggining,but we already know that from the main story,so i bellive in first opinion.I mean as a bonus when you finish all four endings,you get this images so there is no point in telling us that Maria took care of Hiroki when he was a child,causeee we already know it,so it would be a waste of time,so first opinion must be correct one.People can someone find real scenarist opinion about this game and what was the message of th e game,except keaping fulls like myself bond with this game,tham lol.

Interesting theory with the Maria's hand position.

While it is true one would grab a child in hands like this one could also take a elderly adult like this also.

Same thing goes for height position since he would be old, frail and smaller.

Since it is Hiroki's grandson talking first then Maria. Hiroki does not talk.

Maria always called Hiroki by his name it is Ayano that called him Hero as a nickname.

You do not know who Hiroki married to have children then grandchildren but that is neither here no there in this type of game.

The point is is that the end of his life Maria came back to take to her place & take care of him. They would be together forever now.

Of course this is just my impression of the event.

I agree, I was going to make this point myself but you made it for me. I believe that it is ONLY Ayano that calls him 'Hero'.

This was my impression also. The regular ending has her leaving him, never to see each other again, though they both never stop loving each other. The bonus ending extends this to show that, eventually, they ARE reunited.

Does anyone else think that maybe other people get Juliet coming to them after death, to lead them away, and that this is a special favor from her to Maria and Hiroki?

AHhh. Darnt. I just finished this game 2 days ago and i cant believe than make me cry, even at my age... i almost had 25 years old. It was too much adictive too.

Even today im feel somewhat sad.

I first got the good ending of maria, so i was lucky guess, but i cried. And i even didnt know than that was also "the good ending", so i dont want to search now the "normal" maria's ending.

Anyway, the point is the last image of the good ending, when hero is a oldman. After watch it, think about it, and make a conclusion. I really agree with what has been wrote before, i think than at the end, hero is very, very, very old, so much than he cant even talk. So he gonna die... but im not sure which will be the role of maria... She is gonna help him to pass to other life or she is giving him the welcome to the mother earth? Not sure... may be when he dies and Maria is with he, he can become a earth entity too and in this way they can pass thogether forever this new life... i want to think than this is the real meaning of this ending.

Anyway, to write my thinkings here is really relaxing... dont know if it will be readed but im feel a lot better now.

I even did 3 desktop wallpapers from Maria, but is only for 800x600 and i dont think that resolution be used too much now. Anyway it was a really great game to play and thanks to the lecture of the thread now i know which will be my next game. Thanks to all guys, to everyone. This thread must be somewhat almost invaluable to the fans of private nurse for all the thinkings, tips, infos and files than contains.

Ok, I think you'll hate me people, but...
THIS GAME WAS SO FREAKIN BORING!
While playing through Maria's path, I was banging my head against the wall and scream "Make it end!"
...ok, maybe Im overreacting.
Ayano's path saved this game.
There was so much of useless dialogues, especially in Mio's path...
And those irritating animations - you just cant skip them!

Kana>Crescendo>Heart de Roommate>few more>Private Nurse.

But still better than those "come see me tonight" or "do like horny bunnies" >.<

Just a little bit curious, so I dl this game & chose Maria's path

The first time I saw Maria, I said :"Cool...get her, get her quicky, boy..."
.......
4 hours pass with hundreds of noisy clicks...I got nothing.
After the next 2 hours, instead of feeling aroused, the story made me feel depressed instead...
Then as more and more CGs started to reveal, the depression keeps building up & up with a ratio of 20% arousal-80% depression.
........
2 hours later, when it all ended, I just wanted to cry. (BS!)

I think AngelSmile tend to make you suffer from their h-games rather than having a good time with their characters, lol.
Overall, Private Nurse is an unusually weird J h-game, I just want to take that useless 8 hours of my life back.

I havn't played any games like this for quite a while, so I decided to pick up a game out of random, as you all know it, I picked Private Nurse. After spending 6 hours of playing that game...I finished Maria's ending. Damn, I am speechless...Maria's ending is so sad. Really I don't mind a little happiness at the end though. (maybe that is the happy ending that the producers want!?).

When I began to play the game, I was expecting more H-CG scenes in this game. Obviously, the game is different than I expected, but I didn't regret playing it, wow that story is awsome, although it left me friggin depressed for a while.

I do want to know more about Maria though, since I didn't completely figure out what exactly she is. She is connected to the nature, that I know for sure, but is she an angel of the nature, or the mother nature herself? Anyway...I can't believe that game got me like this.

I found it very ironic. Remember that Maria is so in love with romance dramas. There is a moment in the game that she felt depressed after watching a particular drama, so Hiroki cheers her up by saying that tragic dramas always have good ending, but look at her own ending, I don't believe that is the good ending that we all expect.

wow, I guess I will take a break from this game, it is too sad for me to handle...but it is so good though.

Getting back on topic, at the very least, I find Ayano's path tearjerkingly good when I played it what, almost half a decade ago? So good that I want my own copy (just as I am an RPG collector, a friend of mine is an english eroge collector, from which I borrowed a lot of games from). Just so you know, I'm heavily biased for osana-najimi. ^^;

Only problem is, I'm still short in cash, and I always forget to get the eroges I want (Kana, Crescendo, Figure of Happiness, X-change series, and this one) whenever I do have the cash.

Cant someone tell me what the maria ending is because my ending just had her leave after telling him storys and thats it. if there is something different please tell me.

Every on is looking for porn and they get this and it seems that it gets them very depressed. It happened to me and i still continue to play even though it is so sad and it makes you feel strange. and i continue to play.

When i got Maria endind i thought "wtf were the producers thinking". When you play game like this in order to get a girl a think you want to stay with the girl in the end. I felt like being played and i really get pissed off over that. The game is good, but let you a with bitter taste in end. What sort of happy ending in romance story finishes with couple apart? Give a break.

Abou those teories of hiroki's grandson. I think there is no actual real teory. I think the game was made to let you imagine what really happened. But there is one thing maria's path that none of you mentioned before. It is when juliet says to hiroki that she always was with him. After this mios appear to hiroki an says all those things about balance between light and darkness on human beings. If you think about it and look at maria behaviour you can see maria is the light and juliet is the darkness. This enforced if you see taht juliet costume is dark, but she resembles maria in every way. This saound crazy, but i really think taht maria is the light side of hiroki while juliet is dark side. That would explain juliet saying "i've always been with you".

The term you're looking for is "bittersweet", and it is very common in visual novels, as well as a lot of anime, manga, and many, many other forms of entertainment.

I'm not too happy with this game at the moment. I spent hours playing through it and got the neutral ending and didn't get to see any hentai scenes for nudity besides Hiroki's scrawny ass when maria was washing him. Did they make a non-hentai version of this game?

No, it is your typical eroge title...

However note, that you won't get too many ero scenes overall until you start into the ending chapters of the game, and even then these aren't too many.

Also, I would probably suggest not playing a title like this one if you're aiming for just the nudity and sex, as the way the game plays out, you're going to be rather disappointed.
