You know... Sometimes I wonder if the "all the women are hot" syndrome common in most forms of entertainment is detrimental to certain story telling elements.

Namely, the argument that Yuuma has an exceptionally attractive body.

Yes, I agree that she has the body porn stars will kill for. But is it really that uncommon in her universe? I have a feeling all named females in this show would, by the fact of being eternally young supernatural beings, have no worse builds than Yuuma. I guess this is just something we learned to accept. It's like how we would have trouble finding physically unattractive actresses in Hollywood.

Most of them seem to be shape shifters to some degree or another so it'd be fairly easy to make themselves look pretty much as hot as they want.

I know it is justified. I am just pointing out that outwardly, Yuuma is suppose to have an above-average body. But we can't actually tell the difference between her and other females in the same show.

Strange cause Yuma looks better than most of the generic no-names in HS DxD, per say first ep.
Still that is subjective opinion as one persons ideals can completely differ from others. Some like loli petankos some like mature ladies with F-G-H busts, other likes chocolates, and some groups likes girsl with horse heads, and so on ...

That is, in anime it was always a "beatifull people world", most of the time characters looks great, because of the art style used and copy/paste with different hair style and colors of eyes and stuff. Not many animes have ugly characters, and if they do then its mostly because of the art style. However there are some cases of ugly characters, but that is made specially to "show it" by authors.

As for the beautiful characters, its hard to make one exeptional when most of the cast is good looking. Still Yuma hits many of the spots of typical beauty in Jpns market, at least her *Cute* side/act.

Saw the raw. Not much plot, not enough fan service either, though Rias service was good as always. There was a couple of scenes where the quality was noticeably lower.

And yeah, you really have to wonder why Assia is censored and not Riass. On a slightly different note, I was under the impression devils' wings were attached lower than that. Turns out they are just oddly bent. This calls for further intense studying of Rias' body.
