I'm going to be installing this screensaver on a number of computers.

By the way, this should be in the General Chat forum
As it is written, so let it be done... thread moved. ~NW

That's a good screensaver...

Last year I added a BSoD screensaver to the disk image update utility at
my universities ComSci lab. Needless to say the admins were a little
confused when they walked into the lab in the morning and found 250+
Unix machines showing the BSoD.

I've assumed that april fools ties into the ominous and calculated prank phone calls I've been recieving lately. So Im expecting this creep to either step forth and confess their love for me.. or drag me to a ditch and stab me repeatedly

I assume this is a thread is for discussing what people plan to do as opposed to actually propagating the hoaxes / jokes themselves. There is a difference.

Tomorrow, isn't it? Hmm. The people at my high school are nowhere near as stupid as the people at my old middle school (where I would hand out fake tests and mess with Microsoft Word auto-correct), so I can't think of anything subtle enough that people would fall for it.

I can't change the screensavers because the computers are locked down with Novell security...

novell security? we can do all kinds of stuff to that... not due to my leet haxor skills however. just the incompetence of the people running the network.

thankfully for my school, we are off for april fools. or else craaazy shit would be going down.

i was thinking about having fun with my friends computer. oh. and thanks for the screensaver. i gotta do that to him

i was thinking of sending/giving him some fake anime: EG: WHR special...

i understand some BT groups released a fake special awhile ago...

Gonna sit back and wait for some fool to post a hoax, I'am sure someone whom hasn't read the http://forums.animesuki.com/announce...ouncementid=14 thread and guidelines outlined by nightwish will do it. They honestly are hilarious though lol. I've seen some pretty good hoaxes which actually linked back to official anime sites that had fallen for the hoax themselves. The Mods will probably be on high alert tommorrow so we shouldn't have to worry about anything.

Edit: whats worst is alot of new episodes are released tommorrow such as bakasans naruto, their have been hoax's in the past which included fake video files, Grr its going to be a real pain watching out for these files as well, I guess the simplest way to notice this is by the groups that are releasing them. Any new groups that release files will have to be given special attention. The Mods will have their work cutout for them.

I threw a letter in the letterbox of my friend telling him that he can get free games at a video game store because they need to dump old stuff.
He actually went there and showed them the letter, and they needed like 30 minutes to find out that it was a hoax... lol, i laughed so hard

I don't think ill do anything tomorrow ...

Put "free chalupa" cupons in people's mailboxes

someone did that last year down in san diego- they had signs up on macdonalds for 5 months!!!

(thing is, there is such thing as free chalupa promos)

so many good ideas..

Idea: turn off water heater, turn off water softener. that will get them good.

I'm tempted to turn my site into a Christian Fundamentalist site for the day. I'll have interviews with Jesus and everything.

Alright, I just installed the BSoD screensaver on nine computers and it has a timer of four hours (in other words, four hours of inactivity will start it). Hopefully, everyone using them will get a nice little surprise when come in the morning... :P

I'm going to my friends house to celebrate his birthday. Yah I know what your thinking; how funny is it for some one to have their birthday on April Fool's day! The answer; it is very funny! Infact, every time his birthday comes around all his family memebers play (nasty) jokes on him, and so do his friends (sept me, I just feel too sorry for the poor fella). One time his brother brought him one of those big cakes that sexy stripers pop out of, and my friend was really happy about it. But when the cake rolled around, a big huge half naked clown popped out with one of those water bottles clowns use, and squirted water all over my friends face. LOL, it was funny... but at the same time it was really messed up (hahah, it was still funny... )
