Well, since their brother is now an IS, I'm thinking about seperating them for two adopted family, then everyone will rejoice in ISA. There will be gaps between them, heck even a competive relationship.

Basically, a Tsundere/Dandere, and another is Yandere/Kuudere...

Lucky that Ichika has the hangar for now.

But meh, Izuru couldn't handle a memorable romance scene for god sake! Seriously, does Shonen author lack that much in the love department? I miss Inu Yasha!

Actually it's there in the "Reaching for you".

T-rated dating sim adaptation seems to do their job better than shonen manga...

Of course, even they can't be perfect, especially about the ending. Kimikiss Pure RAGE is one of such example, two dozens of character development and interaction, and yet red string ensues.

Mine is usually a combination of both, due to time compression and my ability to write about relationship being limited.

Most of the interaction is off-screen, but everytime the couple is shown, their interaction changed little by little. My wish is the reader like "how we got here" and reread again, then they'll go "Oh"

That is a resonable menthod, I see.

But have anyone here trying to bring all level of romance in one pact? Like Jealous, Happiness, Greed, Lust,...

That is hard to do unless you can imagine what all levels of romance are. Even then, to make it believable, you must have some kind of experience with them to go with it. Not saying that you have to go through every level yourself, but at least see the effects of each one.

It's just plain hard to do for some people. I think about it but I don't write it because my thoughts pass through faster than I can jot them down.

That's all the girls in Ichika's harem at some point - some more than others - Lookin' at YOU Cecilia, AND Rin, AND ESPECIALLY LAURA (except Houki - Houki's 'Lust' is apparently an Ichika who can kick her butt in Kendo while the other girls just prefer just plain lust).

Houki is the worst in the harem. Everyone just wants Ichika. She wants her Ichika and she'd make his life miserable if it means getting him back. Recount how she practically helps nil in prepping against Cecilia just to hog Ichika time and teaches him nonsense, even her ability to teach kendo is impaired. Houki is an unstable woobie but a good person she is not.

Well, haven't you read my previous shot? None love Ichika because of his dense - well, maybe Tate. None love his "true" self, only his "glorius" self. And Houki only escalated the turmoil to a new level.

The more I read the discussions, the more I'm reminded as to why I chose to write OC-centric AU instead of using CCs. I have a very hard time reading into their characters...

You may see that as either a good or a bad thing and I won't blame you for either.
