Am I the only one who is reminded of Age-01 Full Grandpa when I see Glaze HMC’s pincher-like thingy on its hand?

Glaze HMC itself looks like a more mechanical version of Vagan Suits imo.

probably just a coincidence that the HMC Glaze looks like a Vagan suit, it does not help that it has Mars as a setting too, that along with Wing: Frozen Teardrop (to be fair AGE's Euba & Zalam suits are homages to Zeon & Zaft respectively)

Yeah, if anything I'm reminded more of a G-Reco MS aesthetic, or the Earth Federation MS's from Age (again, likely from Ebikawa). The Glaze looks way more like a traditional MS than a Vagan suit, it even reminds me of the Arbalest (once again, Ebikawa

Like I said: "a more mechanical version of Vagan suits" or to be more precise, Ebikawa's approach of Vagan suits. The head and lower legs of Glaze HMC themselves already reminded me of Gafran

I'm not sure whether they worked in that but these were made by the same team that made 00 and AGE. I don't think they did Unicorn since AGE and early Unicorn were being released at the same time.
