Well, I got a few replies about some anime to watch a little while ago, and I've run through quite a few in the past month and a half or so.

So anywho, let's get down to buisiness. Here's the anime I've liked/Disliked:

Disliked:
-DBZ
-Bleach
-Naruto
-Legend of Legendary Heroes

Liked:
-Amagami SS/SS+
-Kanon
-Sould Eater
-Fullmetal Alchemist
-Aria the Scarlet Ammo
-Ambition of Oda Nabuna
-Angel Beats

Here's some of the things I like in Anime:

-Romance, starting strong or small, even a guy like me thinks a developing romance is a key ingredient to creating a good anime

-Action

-Fantasy, or Modern

-Swords, preferebly over guns

-Risen Hero, especially one from an unknown place, from our world being introduced to another, etc.

However, nothing erotic/mature pelase

My main interest lately has been Sword Art Online. Are there any anime like that one? I don't mean it has to be the whole VG setting, but like swordfighting, early developed romance, and risen hero are key qualities.

Seems like you listed pretty much many of my likes/dislikes so i figured you can check this thread at: http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=116182.
It's a list of "tear jerkers" Everything pretty much has some kind of romance, and in addition theres a mix of action, slice of life, fantasy, drama and probably some more.

Angel Beats! is my favorite anime of all time, it has romance, drama, action and a nice story.
But if you look through the animes listed there you might find something to your liking.

I also watched

"The Ambition of Oda Nobuna".

It's probably one of my favorites. Any similar anime compared to that one out there?

I may have watched the entire season in less than 24 hours...

I haven't seen that one, but the first thing that came to mind when i looked at some pictures was Sekirei .. It has action and... boobs..... lots of boobs... and it's a harem. There's 2 seasons and i think a third coming this year (not sure tho) but seriously... boobs. But if you're fine with boobs... lots of boobs, it's an okay anime! : D

I watched it all in two days, and I've become so addicted I've already mastered the main chorus on my piano. It's my all time favorite Anime #2, so thanks for the reccomendation!

And you got any other reccomendations? I could use some more.... I burn through anime quickly sometimes....
