Not that I'd be surprised if there were volunteers, but the pool of people willing to do it probably isn't the best and the brightest, if you catch my meaning.
Yeah... the concept is cool, of course, but the reality would be terrifying... Also, who would maintain law and order? Will the occupants be tasked with farming/providing themselves with food? What about water... I don't know how you'd supply water without constant trips from Earth to replenish...

Plenty of ice on Mars.

Someone has to get things started. Someone else, by preference...

True, but I don't understand the logistics of unfreezing + purifying it and then funneling it into your enclosed living space. Then again, I don't understand the logistics of any of this to begin with so, never mind.

Completely agree on your second thought, though. I'll watch with enthusiasm and excitement, but I sure as hell won't be involved.

Water seems relatively straightforward. I don't know what they'll do for air, though.

There is a lot of carbon dioxide in the Martian air. Find or bring a power source and break it up for Oxygen. It will pollute, but on Mars you actually want to thicken the atmosphere a bit to allow it to be warmer so you can grow plants outside which will take the excessive carbon dioxide you've added and made Oxygen as well, allow you to stop the older man-made method or oxygen generation.

Amazing. There is just so many applications where this could be useful.

Wanna move to Mars? Or even get away from this planet? Here's a chance.

Personally, how about an old fashioned method?
Spoiler:
How about a show in which we can volunteer our favorite useless celebrity or politician. Winners will have to go

The study needs some further investigstion.
Keeping in mind that these are tribal cultures we're talking about, how many of those above 20-year olds do you think have been pregnant already? Perhaps multiple times? I think that's going to be a large contributing factor to sagging.

I dunno. I know some people with really big breasts. If they don't wear a good bra, their backs start killing them. If the study only examined women with small breasts, it's mostly useless since most everyone already knew that they could get away without wearing a bra.

I heard that they are able to build processors down at the atomic level now. Can anyone confirm that?

Two-year-old girl receives new trachea made from her own stem cells

Quote:
Doctors announced today that two-and-a-half year old Hannah Warren just became the youngest person in history to receive a bioengineered organ transplant, a new windpipe made of a synthetic scaffold and her own stem cells. The nine-hour long procedure was performed April 9th, at Children's Hospital of Illinois in Peoria, but the results were just made public. Doctors expect that Warren will be able to return home in a few months and breathe, eat, drink and swallow using the new windpipe, all of which she couldn't do without the aid of machines until now.

I wonder if they'll make said webpage accessible to the rest of the world, so we can see it for ourselves.

... But now there’s a new solution being offered with the Cockroach Freezing Jet canned spray. Similar products have been offered before for use with smaller insect pests, but this is the first one designed to work against roaches. Firing a frigid blast of -75-degree Celsius (-103 degree Fahrenheit) air, it immobilizes the creatures so you can scoop them up and get rid of them at your leisure. The spray is odorless and leaves no sticky residue, making cleaning up after the battle a snap....
So... Good idea or bad idea?
Still, Japan comes up with the wackiest ideas

I dunno, it seems quite fun to spray into armpits during hot summer days...admit it, you'd be tempted if you had it.
