But for the manga readers you all knew this was coming, and even though I hold NOTHING against flora, watching her get "fingernailed" to death in the anime is something I look forward to for the tension and animation quality although it would have been interesting to see her survive

Although us manga readers knew it well what was to come, still many of us couldn't possibly be prepared to see Flora get killed, it's just to painful T_T

she talks like a robot with a loli voice. She had 0 character development other than that small chit chat with clare and maybe showing off her windcutting skillz.

If u lived in japan you'd never hear a person that talks like that. Then again, this is an anime, most of the cast talk in a non conventional way.

this massacre is actually pretty cliche in anime/manga. Heros do really well against baddies until a super badass comes and kills like 7/10 of the party. Im sure it will happen again

Well, but thats not really the point here, as the anime follows the manga, where she _didnt_ have a robot voice, plus quite a bit more screentime...

Also, her greatest feature were her eyes, they are certainly unique amoung the claymores..

I dont know even Flora apeared just for while, you can say a lot about her :

1.) She was pretty - Thats fact.
2.) Intelligent - All things about guessing right about Clare hand
3.) Powerfull - No 8 of organization.
4.) Responsible leader - Guessing from that she cant fight with comrades whom she doesnt trust.

So I think she had personality. But thats my PO.

...in the manga nobody had a voice ^^; and Flora didn't really have more to her in the manga, cept the Windcutter vs Flash Sword part.. of which it's goal was portrayed better in the anime imo. The "battle" was more for show, while the point of the mangaka was to create a friendship of sorts.. and show that Flora was curious about the Flash Sword as it is similar to the Windcutter.
Plus the anime developed her more as she was already aware of the Flash Sword and Irene, which to me developed her a bit more as a perfectionist.

I agree she's somewhat overrated though, as in the end she doesn't get much development, especially compared to other important characters. Most people seem to like her (same with Galatea, but she has more good to back it up) solely for looks, which is fine by me, as she really is pretty :3

btw i think they will stay with the phantom 7 ending, just to keep with the manga even if they aren't going for a 2nd season. plus it leaves it open for a 2nd season just in case

That is a pretty huge change, I wonder what direction they will take the story with Raki discovering Priscilla’s nature, I always did theorize that Raki would attempt to help Priscilla if he found out she was a former Claymore, and Awakened One, considering Ophelia called Clare that, Raki may make an association.

Although it does have potential, I hope they do not screw it up.

Raki does not know that there used to be Male Claymore's so he could simply believe that Isley simply hangs around Priscilla like he did with Clare, although who knows?
