Well blurry is what I was going for but how do you think I should mix the colors better? (totally adobe newb so any help is appreciated)

as for the 2nd sig...really I dont even like it, just posted it cuz I had it, I dont plan on using it for anything really.

Originally Naru was against the far left side but I thought it left too much space in the rest of the sig so I moved him. Thats why the left side looks weird

I debated on text but I couldnt think of anything, if I do Ill change it later.

I should add a BunBun tag

On to the sig, its very flat, You should darken the shadowy part of his face.. And maybe, not blend that side of his face into the BG. Also, putting text more centralized, instead of tugging it into the end of the world, at least gives the focus to his eyes ^^ .. because he at least stared at your text instead of emptyness..

But then again, you might not take my advice too much either

@KiNA: I agree that its flat ^^;; my problem comes from the fact that I was actually trying to lighten the shadow since it covers most his face and the lighter side is almost too light. Ill see what I can do with it though. As for blending, I did a crappy job cropping it which is why that side is blended. Do you think bringing better color/shadows to his face would make it look less flat w/o changing the blending.

Thanks for the tips, as stated most of what I do is trial and error, any help is appreciated.

It's definately better than before. The onlything bugs me a bit is the upper left corner of the sig, where some of the background coveres his hair, maybe just delete a bit of the background there (2-5px) and it would be great

I did try your suggestion but since thats where the orginal pic cut its painfully obvious there is line there Hence the over brushing on my part. I might try it again with a better setting like "soft light" or something.

I would have to go with #1.

The second one is too bright imo, you can barely see her little nose As for the 3rd one, I was choosing that one with #1, but when I look closely I see her uniforms blue colour almost looks cyan.

Back to #1, it's very nicely done, I would just use the dodge tool to lighten her hair. Not too much, just a pinch.

Now please, for the sake of season 2, let go of Mikuru

Consensus was that the bg was overblurred (I was trying for a fading tech but alas, I havent figured out how to do that yet )
