The first half of the episode was really intense with so much raw emotion being distilled in just 12 minutes. The final charge by that armored titan was definitely one of the best highlights of this episode. The sheer brute force of the charge and subsequent destruction of the gate was an adrenaline rush.

Awesome episode! The train of suffering that were rubbed right on the audiences' face were really intense and i couldn't help but despise some people in the inner wall for mocking and belittling the refugees just because they claim themselves superior than those in outer wall
Oh well, at least this episode cleared my doubt and proved that cannons and any other conventional weapons are completely useless against Titans |

Correct, they wouldn't be able to pull off a strong resistance if they were all scattered against a vast horde of giants. Aside from that, it seems all of mankind outside the walls were eaten already. At least that's what they are implying.

Gona be a while before the action starts now didn't expect a change in the pacing it will be worth it tho =). Plus better character development this way and they at least won't milk the will he become a soldier 3d gear training for the whole episode since they showed them talking during the next missions were they are attacking the fake model titans.

Considering the fact that soldiers drank during daylight, the frequency of titans approaching the wall must be rather low. And then episode 1 happened... |

Emo or rage, arrogant or angry. Elen is reckless and brainless. Luckily Misaka is there to keep knocking some sense into him. So it's not that intolerable. I just hope he improve in the future. He is the worst kind of shounen protagonist so far.
So we now have different kind of "super" titan now. A colossal one and an armored one so far. I wonder if they are 1. two different mutated titans (as in permanently in that form) 2. a temporary power-up titan granted by lightning or whatever. 3. a very same super titan that can transform into various forms. So it seem the anime won't follow original manga, instead of time skipping to the main story, they will animate side stories/flashbacks in chronicle order first ? I hope it doesn't turn out a disaster like SAO ^^"

^ SAO is a LN, SnK is a manga, that should be enough of a difference ... and unlike with SAO, SnK's "sidestories" are actually relevant to the main story.
There are always titans assaulting the walls 24h/24h, they just can't do jack about it. The only big difference this time was the presence of colossal and the armored one.
