Nah, the brainwashing happens before they become part of the harem. The protagonist has a ridiculously high harem stat for no reason that goes down when he gains a harem member, with the calculation adding up to 7 members before it hits 0 or something. I think he theorized that if he got more than 7, his harem stat would go into the negative value, which sounds more like a bad end route to me. Granted once he has a 0 harem stat, he's probably screwed in getting more since his popularity stat was 0 from the start, so actually getting more would be difficult.

The triplets knew him before he got his harem stat but showed absolutely no interest in him until he got it, for example. Although I think it implied they started getting attracted to him because their dream was to be in a harem, since they're triplets who always want to be together/consider themselves one person, but understand others consider them separate people.

And I believe capturing is their mutual consent, or maybe boning them. It's one of those. I'm working off poor memory here.

He has this stats called Harem Stats, it was 0 at first. In many games when you level up usually there is only increasing stats, but some games there's also decreasing stats as well. This is the latter, the initially 0 stats decreased, but instead became a negative, it glitched to 65535.

Now, that stats is not for attracting girls into your harem, but to maintain the harem itself, which means at that point he can have infinite girls in his harem. But everything changed after Lvl 10. The stats boost skill increases the stats by 12.5% for every wife except for the glitched harem stats, it becomes -12.5%.

You get it now, right? After 8 wives it will become -100%, harem stats will become 0, and it will dissolves. So the maximum limit is 7 girls. They are counted in the harem if they fall deeply in love with him.

The problem is even now he becomes like an idol in the school, thanks to his otherworldly stats, and even in the world since some of his harem members are super VIPs, so there's no doubt it will increases uncontrollably.
