I wonder how many of the artists/writers are going to attempt to place more Hosaka like traits on Itsuki in the future?

I think this depends on what his laugh sounds like in Endless Eight.

The way it's written, it honestly should sound like Hosaka's epic A HA HA A HA HA A HA HAAAAA

No, no, no, it's "AHAHA AHAHA AHAHAHAHA!"

The final "HA" just gets extended sometimes.

Eh, whatever. Still the best ending to any show, ever.

What do you mean there was a Season 2 and 3?

I've certainly never heard of them.

Considerinng how you typed that, I'm sure you knew there was a Season Two and Three of Minami-ke. And he does use that laugh a few times during those seasons as well.

The animation and art quality took a ridiculous dive and it was nowhere near as epic and funny.

I haven't seen Okaeri yet but I'm not exactly wanting to because of how much Okawari sucked.

Blech. The first season ended with most of the cast passed out drunk and Hosaka laughing on a mountain waving around bowls of noodles. That's a good enough ending for me.

Seriously though I can totally see Koizumi doing that laugh for that scene. It'd fit...

Okaeri was a lot better than Okawari. Also had a lot more Hosaka than Okawari. He gets more epic moments of manliness and creepiness.

Plus who wouldn't want a Itsuki-Yuki duet of the Curry Song for a Haruhi staged karaoke night?

Speaking of which...have any of the artists made something on that order yet?

And would be have Itsuko follow in Itsuki's footsteps if Itsuki goes the Hosaka route?

She'd be more like Hayami-senpai.

Mandark... character on Dexter's Laboratory whose grating laugh could basically be written out like that.
