Episode 15 was kind of meh, and episode 16 I think was pretty funny and have some relationship development so yay!

Episode 15 was how should i say funny a bit. Episode 16 with sub made it understandable.That ep still good...but episode 17 is ftw.

Well I would like to watch more episodes about Rin and Machi because this lasts episodes about Mei Mei and Suzu were little boring to me.

Right -- it still surprises me how many people keep calling nearly every single episode filler -- by now it should be obvious that "filler" is actually the content in this sort of show. I guess it never occured to me that this is an "old-school" style -- I sort of think of it as similar to Inukami, Mahoraba, Maburaho, Mamoru-kun, Girls Bravo, Love Hina, and so on. Even though the content and tone of those shows are quite different, structurally it's still just basic set-up, 90% random stuff that brings the main couple just a bit closer together, and resolution. Liking the show is pretty much all about liking the "random stuff" along the way, which basically comes down to liking the characters, their personalities, and interactions with each other. So yeah -- all in all, I'd say that the general reaction in this thread continues to baffle me; people seem to like the characters, but dislike the stories they're in, somehow, since they're not moving the romance further. This isn't a plot-driven romantic drama where the lead needs to "pick a girl" or progress in their relationship, it's a character-driven romantic comedy where the couple's set in stone. For what it's worth, I think it does what it's trying to do pretty well, but that's just me...

i think the filler word use in this thread is to describe how the episodes are "uneventful" in that sense ~ while there are a few different meanings or interpretations for the word "filler" the way i use it in this thread is to show there isnt much character development besides showing us what we already know (and ofc the randomness is funny and i enjoy it) ~ important development would be when mei mei showed up or even suzu getting jealous as it is a sure sign that change will take place soon to break this loops of "happy go lucky" days...im just hoping for a solid conclusion that isnt rushed ^.^

Right, well, that's the thing -- if people are hoping to "break the loop", as you say, then they're missing that breaking out of the loop just means it's all over -- The End. I don't want the show to end that soon! If you're watching the show for the "plot", all you'd need is the first ("How he got into this mess") and last episode(s) ("How he got out of it... or didn't, and why"). As Rengemaru said, everything in between is the real content of the show (which is why it's ironic that people call that "filler", which usually has a very bad connotation).

All in all, I just think people are spending so much time worrying about where the show's going that they're not taking the time to enjoy the here-and-now. Maybe that's just me though.

I'm not too sure about that cause i feel mei mei has an equal chance considering:

First she is from the outside like Ikuto so it's really easy for them to relate with each other and the situation they are in.

Mei Mei i feel has an inferiority complex and Ikuto being the nice guy he is, would definitely draw sympathy from that fact as opposed to Rin who is strong and has an obssessed girl following her....
