So Oobleck is skyrocketing his way up my personal ranks to becoming my favourite character. He's awesome, and we haven't even seen him fight yet!

I laughed so hard when I see Oobleck's weapon was his thermos, what a man. The white fang guy with glasses over his mask was funny too.
By the way, does anyone know how many episodes are left until the end of season 2?

Seeing that Oobleck uses a kanabo as a weapon makes me think of the phrase "Oni ni kanabo"

We also got a surprise announcement, that we are going to get fully articulated RWBY (8-10 in) figures. They unveiled the figures at the panel and are being shown at their booth. Their price point are going to be in the $150 range, with Ruby costing a little more because of her weapons. Ruby is going to be released at round the time the RWBY blu-Ray/DVD hit.

People can't seem to accept that Ruby might be a weak little girl without her weapon. If you ask me, she could use a little vulnerability.

Her weapon is pretty massive (as well as bodies of Grims she cut throught), so she should be quite strong, not mention aura boosts (which is probably related). She should be able handle bunch of mooks even without CS

Just because Ruby has the physical capability doesn't mean she knows how to fight without her weapon. Her combat training, so far as we know, has been entirely with Crescent Rose. While she could probably make use of her speed and her above average (for a girl her size) strength to fight unarmed, she may simply not know how.

Did she seem like she didn't know what she was doing when she punched that guy? And why would her aura be depleted? The falls from her examine were much worse and she still slugged out with an ancient Grim without tiring after spending a full day walking around in a forest.

Aura hasn't been said to boost general ability. Only that it heals wounds and prevents injury. Physical enhancement is the realm of Semblances.

Crescent Rose might not weigh that much. The design is hollow and compartmentalized. Being 10 lbs. (which is still ridiculously heavy for a melee weapon) would be within the realm of possibility.

She's dependent on her weapon. This is a GOOD THING for her character and the series over all.

Which doesn't change fact, she didn't make low-level mook even wink (probably). Well I am not bothered by it personaly, yet I can't help but agree with that notion.

The talking about "reason being huntress" makes me respect Ruby more... Childish reason seems the strongest reason for being a fighter in front line

and that cliffhanger is too..... damn!

I'm more scared of the price. If I ever buy them, I want them to rise in the middle of the night and strangle me to death. At least $150+ will be cheap to die by the hands of autonomous cursed dolls.

Is it wrong to think that the grimm are just a part of nature? Also, what if grim are deeply tied to dust and semblance? How come there hasn't been any sighting of a humanoid grimm yet? Would Cinder and her buddies know more about the Grimm?

Check out the NYCC Interview. Monty gave vague answers that humanoid Grimm may have already appeared in the show - we just don't know who or what it is yet.
