They needed help against Babidi and went to meet the strongest guy in the planet, Trunks.

Having watched the episode now, holy crap the music that plays when Beerus got serious was amazing. He actually felt intimidating rather than merely powerful.

Yep.

I just noticed a flaw in my previous reasoning: if Zamasu got erased at that specific moment in time in all timelines, then he should also have ceased to exist after killing Gowasu (in the alternate timeline we've been shown). Well... unless things played out differently and he had already become immortal at that moment in time (only for that particular timeline), thus making him immune to the "interdimensional destruction".

So many conspiracy theories out there about Black Goku and Zamasu. It is getting interesting anyway and raises more questions than answers.

Maybe it was Black who revive/summon him instead of the other way?
(Probably he was searching for someone to help him with his goal)

And poor Zamasu, his sword blade have zero effect against Beerus hand

Awesome episode. When Beerus doesn't fool around, he doesn't fool around.

I do hope they answered all the questions this arc raised satisfactorily, because with each new episode, there are more new questions.

I feel that Zamasu is Goku Black. A different timeline Zamasu.

Or Zamasu that got destroyed by Beerus got wished back in the body of Goku Black. Just coincides that how he knows so much about Gods and able to use the Time Ring.

Time paradox hurts my head.

I don't b believe that Zamasu Black because Black didn't want immortal body but strength unlike Zamasu

Well there is a possibility that he may have used the Namekian Dragonballs just not the Super Dragonballs, he may have done some digging and might have found out that there are other versions of them out there. Since it may make the other versions of the Dragonballs relevant again since they have been taking a back seat for a while, after their prior uses.

I am probably the only one who against Trunks x Mai in this thread but i don't care with it.
Trunks x Mai really one of most forceful romance i ever seen, there is absolutely no reason for they became a couple. Heck, Pilaf and gangs re-youth again never make any sense in the first place.
I wish Toriyama did not messed up his characters like this, why cannot he pair Trunks naturally with someone from his generation?
Like with Marron? she grew into a fine cute girl in GT or probably with Pan for sake to see emerge another new pure blood again.

From what I understand this episode, Black's body is Goku's, the real thing. However, I believe the mind/heart/soul was swapped with Zamasu using the Super Dragon Ball. So basically a Zamasu soul with a Goku shell. What I don't understand is another Zamasu standing next to him, and what the time ring means when it was shown at the end. What I think is they went back in time to swap bodies when Goku was still alive and then killed Goku's soul in Zamasu's body.
