I meant there's no need for an incentive. There's no shortage of demand for the PS5.

And it wouldn't have been a problem. PS5 can handle PS4 saves just fine.

Only if the game is specifically designed to have the same ID on both PS4 and PS5.

Your DMC5 vanilla save file on PS4 does not carry over to DMC5:SE on PS5.

Intergrade extended the ending by about five minutes (I think it pops up when you complete the DLC as well, which is why people already got it).

Weiss is commander of Deepground army, antagonist of Dirge of Cerberus. His younger brother, Nero, who killed Sonon, is his vice-commander.

Deepground is branch of SOLDIER, intended to be the secret ops that do all the dirty works while SOLDIERs were keeping Shinra image as good company in check;
Unlike SOLDIER that allow recruitment even Zack and Cloud, both village boys with little to no knowledge, may apply, Deepground members are "created" through talent scouting, rigorous training and human experimentation, resulting on low members in comparison to SOLDIER but even the weakest of them is a superhuman material; part of why Vincent wanted to solo them in Dirge as, compare to others, he can close the gap especially with its higher-ups, Tsviets, like Weiss and Nero, using his limit break.

The surprising part of Weiss in FF7R is he almost as strong as his DoC self (stagger-only damage and HP regen) by simply getting data update from Chadley.
This is weird because timeline-wise:

- Weiss is simply above regular SOLDIERs in Crisis Core (before Zack death) as he's not finished with his training and modification until end of FF VII.
- Dirge material specified his dual gunblades is created by his assistant not long before Dirge events started, so it shouldn't be available by Chadley simulation yet.
- Weiss strength in DoC is sum of all Deepground members and technology. Deepground got biological and technological improvement following recruitment of new member, Shelke; happened after FF VII with Shelke became part of Tsviets by AC; so naturally Weiss shouldn't be that strong at this point, Nero OTOH is fitting to what he can do in Dirge.

By doing so means Dirge order of events will be changed in future (well, fact he gained it through Chadley data upgrade already make a lot of differences).
His existence also paved way for Genesis (main antagonist of Crisis Core, "Sephiroth" to Zack's "Cloud", Weiss wanted to recruit him to Tsviets as, despite being failure of Jenova project, his average clone quality is far better than Sephiroth clones) and Minerva (superboss of Crisis Core, referred as "The Goddess" by Genesis) to be available as next superboss.

With how Dirge stuffs played in Intergrade, I'm convinced we will have party split with Vincent at some point.

INTERmission has made me hate Wedge. You'll know why if you do the side quests.

Other than that, it's a very fun DLC and it looks fantastic. Yuffie is really nice to play as.

Now that the jig is up, they dropped "remake" from the title entirely. Not sure if Cloud walking around with Sephiroth is part of the flashback or if we're actually going to team up with him. It sounds like Cloud is taking his side in the trailer... which makes absolutely zero sense but we'll see.

When they say Winter, they always mean January to March. That's actually a lot sooner than I thought.

Why doesn't it make sense? Sephiroth was your ally for the Nibelheim flashback in the original too.

Also most likely the only reason they changed the title was because the first part was already called Remake and they wanted something creative to call the second game other than Remake Part 2.
The first game wasn't called Remake Part 1 despite knowing it would be a multipart series anyway, so they never had any intention of sticking with the title from the beginning.

Remake was fitting for part 1. Not only as an actual remake of the original but also remaking everything by literally fighting fate.

And yeah, Cloud walking around with Sephiroth is definitely just during the Nobel he I’m flashback from Clouds perspective. Or maybe Sephiroth will become an ally in this new timeline as they fight a bigger evil lol

Its not so strange, Cloud was basically Sephiroth's bitch for the first half of the game. But it probably is the flashback as people are saying.

I suppose they're calling in Rebirth because the ending of Remake indicates that everything from that point on would be significantly more different than how Remake was.

Also most of the trailer appears to be flashback content, with the one where Cloud and Sephiroth are walking together representing the 5 year flashback to Nibelheim, and the one where Zack carries Cloud most likely at the ending of Crisis Core.

Shit, I didn't realize that Crisis Core's trailer said "This winter" and Rebirth "Next winter".

So late 2023/ early 2024 then. Assuming there are no delays of course.

Anyway, what will get people really talking is the final scene. Zack is in front of the Church in sector 6 ready to reunite with Aerith, he opens the doors only to find it filled with refugees.
