Now I'm just trying to remember at which point the franchise went from "killing moves in order to FINISH THEM" to dealing impossible wounds that the fighters don't even register. I know that it's a conscious choice that cranks ridiculousness up to 11, but it would be nice to actually have injuries as a game mechanic - it would give the game a more realistic touch (not that they're going for it, but whatever).

It's amazing how much this music doesn't fit.

Anyway, I wonder if it will have Injustice 2's character customization. And seeing how we have 2 versions of Scorpion here, the probability of that is pretty high.

The press release for the game confirms that character customization will be in it.

With how the trailer ended,
Spoiler for Mortal Kombat 9:

I am surprised this is coming to the switch. that is good though. it is a pretty fun game to play on the go/in short spurts.

'I'd Have These Extremely Graphic Dreams': What It's Like To
Work On Ultra-Violent Games Like Mortal Kombat 11:

"The people who make Mortal Kombat live with the seriesí over-the-top violence for much
longer than players do. Game development is slow and tedious, and a few frames
depicting a manís face being removed in photorealistic detail can be the result of days and
weeks of careful work and research. That work might take a toll, one thatís worth
examining as the stories of what itís like to make the biggest, most popular games
continue to come to light.

Hereís one such story, about a developer who worked with the cinematics team for Mortal
Kombat 11 and requested anonymity in order to protect their employment prospects.
They told Kotaku that they had worked on the game throughout 2018, and spent their
days reviewing violent animation work, discussing it with leads, sharing feedback with
animators, and generally being surrounded by the kind of bloody real-life research material
that creators reference in order to animate video game gore. Within a month, they started
feeling the effects."

Basically the game's gore gave the developers PTSD.

I love how they got the actor who played Shang Tsung in the MK movie to motion capped and voice the character for the game as well.

Also, they confirmed, Nightwolf, Sindel and Spawn will be coming as well. And judging by the soundtrack for the next two secret characters, Ash from Evil Dead and the Terminator are also coming.

I hope they can get Arnold Schwarzenegger, Keith David and Mark Hamill to reprise their roles as The Terminator, Spawn and Joker respectively for MK11.

I have a feeling that based on the trailer they’ll just do what they did for Injustice 2 and just have Richard Epcar voice Raiden and Joker. It’s ok though, his Joker isn’t half bad.

Yeah, that laugh sounded like Epcar's Joker.

So is Schwarzenegger voicing the Terminator or not?

It's great that they were able to get Keith David and Mark Hamill to reprise their roles as Spawn and Joker respectively for MK11. From the latest news, which I usually read on the site, there was an article about the basics and advanced tricks of Cetrion from one of the best players in North America , Eve. Has anyone already researched this guide?
