Mary seems to have a slight thing for him but it's a mutual both do nothing relationship. It's questionable if Yume understands what love is to begin with, and Shiho just seems uninterested all around.

The girl on the volume 5 cover kind of hits on Haru throughout the volume (she's a tall/big woman who likes cute things, and wants to raise Haru as a pet because he's timid, small and cute. She's from another very peculiar party they cooperate with.) and Mary isn't very amused by this, but doesn't actually do anything about it.

At the very end, the tall woman changes her wanting to pet to wanting to go out with Haru, but literally the very last line in the volume is him bowing his head to her and telling her that he's sorry (aka a generic confession refusal). Of course volume 6 may expand on what happens after the refusal, since big girl wasn't the type to exactly listen to what Haru said, but it'll likely be a small time skip thing and maybe offer a quick summary of the events that follow after it.

I really liked the big girl too. And seeing as she's the only woman so far willing to push forward in a relationship (compared to every other girl doing not that) and Haru is the type to get pushed into one, I thought they were pretty cute together.
Can't win them all, I guess. Or more like the person I root for in stories rarely ever wins. Maybe I just have shit taste. Could also be partly due to my habit of liking characters introduced midway through a story.

The anime is planned for winter 2016.
The character are a bit weird. They seems younger, mainly Haruhiro, and seems really like characters rpg (they already have equipment with Mogzo and Ranta who already have an armor). But this is OK and the background is very beautiful and lively.

It gives me hope for adaptation even if the world of Grimgal seems darker in the novel.

About Mogzo (knight) iirc he gets a fatal injury that ruins his adventurer days with Haru's party, so he becomes a ramen shop keeper to settle down or something. Then Mary's former party member joins as replacement and he's a paladin now.

Well, just finished reading volume 1 and 2 that already been translated.. It had the same familiar feeling when reading Mushoku Tensei which is my top LN or WN to date, I can relate Rudeus and Haru in some way, the setting also look familiar.. The illustrations also look the same, which probably from the same artist too.. So, basically I want moar of it..

So, I humbly want to ask the summary for volume 4, 5, and 6, and what happened in it, onegaishimasu..

The second PV of anime was broadcast on the internet. It gives me hope for the future.
The character seems more mature than in the first PV and scenes were added. It's probably a good way to reflect the thoughts of the characters.

I've been reading and just now at Chapter 6 there's something that struck me so much:

Haruhiro realized then: being the only one humoring Ranta while everyone else stayed out of it must have made them seem like best friends.

Goddamn. Ranta reminds me of this one dude at my previous job and how I kept humoring his bullshit. I was so irritated at how he was acting and I found myself thinking like Haru. Now I realize why my boss scolded me for shit he did.
