Episode 2:

Return of the big frogs lmao (I remember something similar from the previous season)

Oh I loved the humor they reintroduced into this season again. So funny seeing Kazuma and the others getting chased by those things and eaten alive. I'm also glad to see that they are making Yunyun more relevant this season (after her appearance from the OVA). Megumin was pretty amusing to watch as well. I can't help but laugh at her chemistry with Yunyun.

Yeah this episode was funny as hell, Yunyun and Megumin really shined this time. The bath scene was priceless, for some reason it feels like Megumin is the one that is the closest to Kazuma if we compare her to the rest of the girls.

Just a little complaint, the animation this season is worse than the first one.

All animation with Yunyun was done amazingly. Just looks at shop scene.

Two points: ED is very nice (both song by the girls and animation) and yeah -

Yunyun's introduction as great. You just got to love her moments with Megumi.

It was also nice to see the toads return and have Aqua take up her role as b̶a̶i̶t̶ a decoy.

Oh yeah, that scene where she blasted the frogs was really well done, same as the shop one but the quality is still there in the rest of the episode. Anyways that's a minor complaint that doesn't change the fun we're having with Konosuba

Also, something I noticed about Sena. I'm guessing that her "sexy" poses are going to be fairly common. Last week she was striking poses after the testimonies(especially when she arched her back after talking to the two girls) and this week she did something similar the first time she popped out of the toads mouth while giving off an erotic moan.

Nothing more beautiful than seeing Aqua's legs coming out from a giant frog's mouth.

Kazuma and Megumin are closer than I thought.

Yunyun is a lot more cute and pitiful than I remember her being in the OVA.

And whatever is happening to Lalatina, I'm not the least bit worried

And yeah I loved this ep. I don't know whether the animation was legitimately better or I just got used to it, but I liked it. The chorus between Aqua and Sena was great, even short as it was. And that bath scene was priceless. That is indeed Kazuma's personality shining at its brightest. Only thing better was the legitimately embarrassed look in her eyes when he eyed her and imagined what she'd be like in a couple years. Normally she looks distrustful but it's not so common for her to give that look like a typical shy young maiden; it was surprisingly adorable. Also, I imagine this is where Kazuma starts to sexually harass Megumin along with the others. It's obvious from the OVA (which takes place later than this point clearly) that he does start this, and now he knows that she's 13 and thus past the technical age of consent. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't harass a girl of 12, and probably wouldn't have harassed a 13-year-old like Megumin until after he'd already been thrown past that lolicon barrier. But now he knows she's close enough and he's got nothing to lose reputation-wise.

Ep 2 was much better than Ep 1. Ep 1 didn't tickle my funny bone much but I'm in pieces after Ep 2.

I loved this episode (review here). But leaving aside the tragic backgrounds of the two girls, anyone else noticed how the animation looked spot on during the scene where Sena popped out of the frog's mouth?

Yunyun is really similar to Megumin in design. Especially her face. When i first saw her in some random poster in the internet i thought they would be sisters or something

. Their interactions are really funny. But the best moment was the bath scene. Kazuma is now an official lolicon..lol

I hope we get to see again one of Megumin's explosions with that awesome spell chant and OST in the next episodes. I really miss those. DEEN's animation never fail in the action scenes as this episode prove once again.

I just watched 20 minutes of these characters yelling at each other nonstop...and IT WAS AMAZING. Yunyun being in the shop felt like deja vu, though.

Funny enough, it was the opposite for me here. I was somewhat amused, but I didn't laugh incomparison to the first episode. But Konoasuba's comedy has always been or miss on me. *shugs*
