i hope he did if it well drift than the light novel cause i dont like the two story end which some authors do cause it feel like one is true and the other is fanfiction like Sono Mono Nochi Ni where Aria was a bitch on wn and harem member on novel version

I'm reading the light novel version of the story and I really enjoyed the adding stories about the members of the 7 shadows. Like for example what made Beta become so obsessed with Shadow or the first encounter between Delta and Shadow (the story is well summarized in the manga).
Cid really did amazing things for the girls, but it's funny that he doesn't think much about it.

Volume 4 of the LN consist entirely of original contents with almost no resemblance of WN

To be fair, the chapter that shows Cid's (insane) life before he dies is identical to the web novel.

I read the 4th volume and feel that it was forcing the story too fast.

Perhaps the author wanted to speed up the Oriana arc. It was there that he got lost in the story, getting stuck in it.
So he must have thought: "I'm going to get rid of this soon and move on", you notice how the quality of the story on Earth is better.

Author had implied Akane got raped in her backstory from when she got kidnapped by a stalker in the past that she was thinking about when Cid saved her right?

It's like I said, I don't remember the web novel indicating any rape, I remember her being traumatized though. I didn't see anything different in the ln, and surely someone would have said it already if it were different version. But what you said caught my attention and I will reread both versions. To be honest, Minoru being revealed as a master at using a crowbar had stolen my attention at the time.

I feel like the author was trying to imply it pretty heavily in a subtle way, tbh i didnt come up with the idea, I remember seeing some other people bring it up and when I reread it, it looked pretty plausible. Added that it was a stalker and not kidnappers looking for a ransom like these guys too, and if she was saved immediately, then she probably wouldn't have had as strong reaction/trauma like she showed here

To think about it, at the time I thought she had been beaten / molested and not really raped. But you really can't have a definite answer with the information given. But at least that would explain Akane's insane obsession with Cid.

I believe so, for theatrical reasons Shadow-sama has red eyes (it must be some trick with magical power), Cid has black eyes.
