Kaos adopted the kitten and named it Nyaos-chan. How cute
And deym that Koyume fanservice on the 3rd episode. She's so cute, curvy and jiggly in the right places. Yummy. Kaos-sensei has long ways to go in her manga.

The simple reality is that in this KIRARA manga series there is always material to use your yuri glasses. But so far kaos sensei seems so depriven of affection from fellow schoolmates that a friendly push of breasts on her back must feel to her like high quality skinship. That is what I think, this is no Citrus or Sakura Trick or Valkyrie Drive where the lesbian angle is not part of the viewers imagination.

Two things I like so far: all of the girls' family names cleverly relate to their manga genre specialisation in some way, and the effects of friendship are slowly beginning to help Kaoruko figure out what an enjoyable manga should entail. Being early in the season, it should be no surprise that she's got a ways to go yet.

Watched episode 4:
Once again, enjoyed watching this. Kaos draws cute manga! She just needs to have more experience and knowledge to be able to create a good story. I'm impressed she tries so hard to the point of getting sick. Glad to see they adopted Nyaos the kitten. ^^

But that means...we're in the future! Jokes aside, Kaoruko's strong point does seem to be in her determination to improve. It's not unreasonable to suppose that the whole point of Comic Girls is to illustrate her journey in learning about what high school girls do and like through the shared experiences, so it probably means that once Kaoruko begins gaining a better understanding of high school girls, then her effort will allow her manga to be much more enjoyable for her readers

How come they are attending the same school and their "uniforms" aren't uniform at all? Particularly Tsubasa. Wouldn't she be sent home and told to change?
I suspect the staff are as aware of the similarities of this show to Hidamari Sketch as the audience. I smiled at one point seeing Kaos wearing the X hair clip that was Yuno's trademark.

The excuse Lita Kino (from Sailor Moon) got was there were no uniforms big enough for her in her new school so she used the old one, so maybe there are no uniforms SMALL enough for Kaos-sensei. I mean, we are talking grade school proportions in a high schooler, even for japan that is a extreme.

Tsubasa took a lot of liberties, but that seems part of her character. At least she isn't wearing her cape and eye-patch at school. |

My reaction was first prompted by this scene, but maybe I was confused because only Kaos was wearing her jacket.
But there's no way you're going to convince me that Tsubasa is wearing the uniform: Her jacket isn't even the right color. Is she just not wearing her tie as a declaration of artistic independence?

Yeah, Tsubasa seems to take the uniform requirements as more of a suggestion. Rather than artistic independence, I think her boyishness gave her a bit of a bad boy side. At least for fashion.

I suppose Tsubasa follows the "too cool to be criticized" angle when it comes to wearing the uniform. Maybe they are pretty lax about enforcing uniform policies or no one wants the headache of upsetting Tsubasa's personal fanbase by telling her to wear the uniform.

Probably one of the best episodes so far. A great dive into Ruki's character and what she's been going through. She really owned the episode from start to finish. No doubt she's had a bit of a rough road just in terms of ending up somewhere she didn't expect. It may not have been her perceived road, but she has had an impact already on a lot of people.
Some good comedic moments still. Koyume getting embarrassed at Tsubasa helping with the pages regarding the character modeled after her. Kaos drifting into the dark zone again, before finally finding something she could be really helpful with. She both functions as a stuffed animal and tech support . A pretty strong emotional episode for Ruki.

I was laughing a lot the 4th episode most probably because of Kaos and Koyumi's reaction seeing Ruki's panel. Kaos is too pure for h-manga and Ruki doesn't have a clue of technology, lol.
Her transformation to Himeko-oneesama mode. Oh boiii
