In a Fantasy world in which a young girl with the Divine Protection of the Hero battles against the Demon Lord. In that world, Red, the elder brother of that young girl Hero, possessing the Divine Protection of the Guide which only grants a high initial level, fought in the initial party of the Hero.

However, with a Divine Protection that only grants a high level but no magic nor martial art nor supernatural ability, he gradually could no longer keep up with the battle and in the end, a companion, a Sage, remarked ‘You are not a true companion’ as he snatched all his equipment and kicked him out of the party with just a single copper sword.

I've only read up to chapter 32 but it's not bad.
I just have to be in a certain mood for slow life since, well, nothing happens in it all that often.
Really don't think it's going to be harem at any point. Only people who show interest in the protagonist is the main heroine (who while not officially dating pretty much both acknowledge that they like each other) and his little sister the hero.

The take on the hero in this story is interesting.
They get overwhelming power but in order to be resistant to negative status effects, they have almost no emotions at all and pretty much completely emotionlessly carry out their tasks as heroes.

I am still far from lastest chapter but yeah it does feel like it will stay that way with only them being interested in him.

Well, the little sister is no idiot.

She is aware that it was him who drove her brother away, but as a hero, she can't just act on a personal grudge on a party member no matter how much of a scum he is and she can't just abandon her responsibilities as a hero to look for her brother herself. Though she almost killed him when she pushed him away with all her strength after the sage hugged her and she noticed it was seen by her brother.

^^As a hero she has a very strong sense of duty and generally won't do anything unless it gets directly in her way of being a hero.
So she won't take sides or really try to convince anyone of anything.

That said, she did almost nearly kill him in an act of "self-defense" when he touched her the first chance she got.
Of course she didn't mean to react so strongly and healed him right afterwards.

For what it counts she did try to stop her brother before he left but the Sage got in her way, and as a hero she can't just ignore a party member consulting with her even when she knows he's obviously lying.
Being a hero seems to generally suck all around in this setting. She may as well be a robot.

Well she already had yandere qualities to begin with, sort of.
Her brother is the only person who makes her feel any emotions at all however slight when she, as a hero, isn't supposed to have any.

...Wow, being a hero there is a lot worse than I though, no need for sleep or eat, you don't feel any emotion and your body can't even recognize if it's cold of warmth, and also have a impulse to protect everyone even if you will end losing your own life as a result.

Also, it seems like the imouto can no longer feel anything at all, so all her feelings she has now are based on the memory she had of these feelings, from the time when she was a child where the Divine Protection was weaker (?)

Finished reading until lastest chapter, seems like the slow life stopped since the reunion with the imouto

-Rooty is jealous of Lit for being able to express her emotions with Red while she can't

-The four are trying to make a drug that could get rid of Rooty's Divine Protection
-Rooty and Tise star searching an ancient elves ruins that may hold clues for that
-Sage found where Rooty was with a spell that used Albert blood
-Danan(hero's party member, muscle idiot) finds Red in the port, they talk about their circumstances so far since they last met
-Sage, Theodora (hero's party member, Priest(?)) and Albert arrived at the town everyone else is at
-Sage goes alone to find an inn, Theodora and Albert find Red and Danan and hears their conversation about Red current plan of getting rid of Rooty's divine protection
-Sage meets a demon disguised as Danan (who is the same demon who killed Lit's mentor who she respected)
-Demon tricks sage in joining him to enter the elven ruins
-Red meets Lit and Tise outside of ruins, Lit notices the possibility of the demon who killed her mentor being there and wants to kill it if she were to meet it.
-Red enters the ruins to join up with Rooty due to possibility of enemies going
-Danan is found by Theodora and Alber, they go together to the ruins to join up with red
-Lit and Tise join Red and rooty in the ruins
-Sage finds them
-Sage tries to convince Rooty to join him to defeat the Maou
-Rooty rejects him, saying she will no longer be a hero
.Sage throws Red against a wall to shut him
-Rooty stabs sage with her sword, tells him that she no longer cares about being a hero and that if he tries to hurt again her important person she will kill him.
-While at the start he planned for the sage to redeem himself, author confirmed that sage will remain evil to the end
-Demon finds the wounded sage while taking the form of an adventurer, sage finds out about it being a demon
-Demon offers the sage a way to get the hero to feel like going to exterminate the Maou again with the help of an ancient artefact in these ruins belonging to the first hero
-Demon and sage finds the artefact, Demon is attacked by Danan

And that is all that happened so far after reunion with imouto, of course, I think I skipped some parts but you get somewhat the idea of what is happening so far

Danan is trasing demon who is still in human disguise, demon as for sage to help him, sage decides to help the demon, betraying his former companion by attacking him, after which demon transform into his true form and proceeds to beat Danan to near death.

Demon and Sage go towards the main chambers of the ruins,where they find the Holy sword the hero uses which apparently is the original one, we get some explanation on how the current hero sword is just a imitation of the original, the same goes to the divine protection, the divine protection is made by god replicating the soul of the first generation hero.

The demon tells the sage two conditions needed for Rooty to return to her duty as a hero
1- To hold the original holy sword which will strenght the divine protection while also making it impossible to remove with the method Rooty is currently trying
2- To remove the reson for which she wants to go against the impulse of protection as a hero, meaning her brother.

Meanwhile Red, Rooty, Tise and Lit are currently heading toward the place they are after hearing the sounds of battle
