I don't think its that big of a loss, most of the seiyu changes are a good thing, most of the characters in this adapatation have different roles than they did in the first anime, a change of voice brings openess to their actions, Mustang is more sly than he is in the first anime, the real shift in characters is what makes the change in seiyu actually smart because it tells the audience right off the bat that its not related to the first adaptation.

In Winry's case, her role in the manga isn't THAT different from the anime. Anyway, her new seiyu did Chao in Negima, so I guess she can voice a "tinker" pretty well.
For Lust, Inoue-san is going to crank out her I-No voice. Definitely.

Seeing as how Bonen no Xamdo is over, and Soul Eater should have finished production as well. I hope they get some of the veteran animators to work on this show, so it will look really good. A couple of BONES shows recently before Xamdou didn't wow me cause most of the big people were working on that movie of there's; Sword of the Stranger.
FMA had a mix of old guys who have been together scince Escaflowne and Bebop with some new ones (a lotta chicks actually) so it will be interesting to see who works on it (if youre into that sort of thing). It said in the newtype that apparently this is the production of Bone's D studio, so what they have like 4 studios now? (I hear Sunrise has like 12) |

And there's actually only one missing. Though the 6th is hard to spot. |

That is a real neat poster. Now that Gallo mentions it Kanno's renditions are much closer to Arakawa's own. I still prefer Itou but what ever. Aside from Shinichiro Miki, I'm pretty happy with the casting. I just think Miki's very svelte voice will make Roy sound too....young perhaps? I always see him play these young characters, cept for Edo Genbatsu in Ayakashi Ayashi which I know NO ONE but I have seen.
