I'm alright with Chrono saying that Time Travel isn't possible - so long as we find out /why/ that is so, you know, detailed explanation.

So, it'll start off with "why", then "because", and end with "but!" seeing as how there are exceptions.

But I might be awaiting too much for a fightin' game.

Chrono is 14 in season 1.

Anyways, if I recall the way he said it that it was common knowledge that magic can't revive the dead or time travel.

Then that would mean some from of technology is need to make it happen which I'm sure they have in the future.

And on that note I'm also sure that the TSAB would have a time police division set up to monitor the time stream and prevent any tampering or anomalies.

Well, abot the "time" part of the TSAB i always guessed that interdimensional travel also involves some sort of time manipulation or calculation as traveling such great distances normally will take lightyears or probably the flow of time isn't the same on all dimensions and a interdimensional travel will have an accident and end up actually jumping in time or something. TSAb technology probably have the measurements to avoid said problems.

Of course, since this is already an alternate continuity, it could simply be that time travel works just fine here...for all we know, Chrono didn't even say that line in this reality's version of the scene...

I don't think he said GOING to the past was impossible, just changing it.

People, it's time travel. Just because it wasn't possible when Chrono said so doesn't mean it isn't possible in the future. A couple of centuries ago people would have laughed at you if you told them it's possible to fly, and look at us now. Time travel just has the added advantage of being able to go back in time and whispering "not yet anyway" in Chrono's ear.
