30 young men and women who have come together on a shady bus tour. The tour's destination: an illusive, possibly nonexistent village called Nanakimura. In Nanakimura, one can lead a utopian existence, free of the world's obstacles … or so it is rumored, like an urban legend.
"In despair over the real world ... wanting to escape the tedious daily life … wanting to restart your life from scratch …"

The bus heads deep into the mountains, carrying 30 people each with their own expectations and wounds in their hearts…

And so, the place these 30 arrived at, was an uninhabited village with the lingering faint scents of life, even though it is falling apart.

What is the truth of Nanakimura facing the 30? You can't miss even one episode!

First episode was a great opener. It was pretty much setting and it was really interesting through the whole thing. The characters look really appealing already (only unfortunate thing is that I found the adults much more interesting than the obvious main kid characters...as usual) and the mod is totally set for people to start going insane anytime soon! totally my type of show <3

This was (is) one of my most anticipated shows of the season and it sure feels like it will deliver. Now I just hope the show is 2 cours so all the cast get a bit of time to shine and we don't end up as 20 mobs and 10 actual characters.

The first episode was a good start, it is going a bit fast tho with all the settings and presentations. If there is something I fing a bit off in this episode are the kids and their designs, also their personalities aren't good enough to convince me about all this mystery thing surrounding them.

I'm going to be cautious with this series but for now is ok I guess.

I dunno, there were aspects about the series itself that were good and effective, yes, but the method of presentation feels a little like the style adopted in some short animes of the dialogue tumbling out of the characters at non-stop speed at times.

For me this gets in the way of appreciating the story at times, and I kind of wish there were nothing that could do that especially for the premise (and promise based on first ep impressions) of this series - it is atmospheric, and to do things that jolt the viewer out of that sort of series especially for me is a big no-no.

Well, I will give the next few eps a try, I think....

I think it's a bad idea to watch this anime weekly because I have no idea about the plot and too many character introduced at once it's so confusing. Gonna re-watch this again after 5 or 6 episodes aired.

For one thing, since it's an original series, we are all on the same boat.

You won't have people who already knows the source, coming in, and giving hints all over the place.

Crazy people all around, Higurashi village, some guy who looks like Ooishi (but without the awesome voice)... What could be more exciting?

Heck, even the ED was out to make you smile. I mean, 3 pictures only for the entire ED animation?

Anyways, definitely looking forward to this (mess).

I'll wait for at least 3 eps before go-or-nogo on this one. Though there is mystery it's kind of lacking in thrill. The character VA are a bit off putting for me especially for the adults though design wise they're ok.

Large cast means they're gonna kill off people at a rapid pace.

I'll admit I found the hippo song to be catchy.

Count me in among those ... a rather depressing narrative dedicated to an unlikely protagonist presented in an easy sing-along manner.

I didn't like the bus guy much but everything else seems alright with the setting. Lion seems like a character that I find peculiar while one of the main characters has a rather disturbing dream. (wonder if that hints for something). So yeah. Decent start. I wish the show had less characters but I think it could work for a 12-episode show. And plus, there's mystery building up already... __________________
