Prince of Chronics: Very nice composition of this sig. I love the scanlines in the background, and the glow around the foreground character. 9.8/10

IcExAlcHeMy: That background is EXCELLENT, and the text looks REALLY good too! The only complaint i have is the slight grainyness in the character. 9.7/10

IcExAlcHeMy: I like the texture of the background. and the crop of the girl is cute. the simple border is nice. the name isn't supposed to match your screenname I guess. I'm confused. 9/10
Ero_Sannin: my sig uses the effect called "noise", so it's like colorful dots. but if you can't see it. oh well. I can't see your sig otherwise I'd rate it.
Yuiichi: I like your old sig! The new one is nice, but there just seems to be too much space...are the dimensions still good?

I don't think so, because other users use it here as well, and none of their images are down. Try uploading it again.

Hobbs: I like the overall look of the sig, with the sort of faded background. I think the character shouldn't be faded like it is if you're going to have "Merry Christmas" like that in the foreground. Nice border through, it's different. 9.2/10

Avaj: Very nice name placement as always. I don't like the quality of the image though, looks sort of like a screen cap of a fansub, just with the added name. The background is somewhat simple. I liked the chalkboard one better! 8.9/10

Yuiichi - The one posted 6 posts up (at the moment of typing). It's alot better then the one you're using right now IMO. Nice rounded edges. The overall feel of the signature is good too. However, I don't like how I can see the wall through the girls head though. That's about it. 9/10

Necro: From a game, Halo? I don't know, heh. The quality seems a little risky, but I like how the font matches the explosion colors and feel well. Hard to see the border, though it's due to the darkness of the image. 8.2/10

Thanks a lot, i really appreciate positive feedback, as well as constructive criticism. I'm actually re-working the new one to meet other people's specifications, since i think it can be better.

DracoBattousai, remember that everytime you do post here, you have to rate a signature, so i suggest you do from now on ^_^

DracoBattousai: This is actually a really good sig. The sort of grungy feeling i'm getting out of it really sets the mood. It looks like you added a couple of squigally black lines too (correct me if i'm wrong) Those also suit the image. 9.5/10

ChibiDusk: Quite the composition you have there Chibi. Text placement and... ummm... text "shaping" i guess you could call it, is amazing. Image is top notch, once again. Shape is good, always rounded edges. The only problem that i have with this one is: no background!!! Lol, it would look a lot more "complete" if it did have a bg! 9.4/10

I see that about half a dozen of the recent posters have sigs which have drifted over the limits, so as a reminder...

• Signature Images
  Putting images in your signature is allowed. However the following limitations apply:
  • Maximum imagewidth 500 pixels for all images combined.
  • Maximum imageheight 60 pixels (with maximum 2 lines of text in your signature) or 80 pixels (without any additional text in your signature) for all images combined.
  • Maximum filesize of 50000 bytes for all images combined.
  • Any annoying signature images (either because of animations or content) may be removed at the sole discretion of the administrator or moderators.

I don't mind if the vertical limits are twice the above BUT only if you make a trade off with the file size. My rule of thumb is that you may go up to 160 pixels high but only if you bring the file size down to under 30,000 bytes and have no additional text.

Image only (no text)
500 x 80 pixels and up to 50,000 bytes
or 500 x 160 pixels and under 30,000 bytes

Image and text (max of two lines of text)
500 x 60 pixels and up to 50,000 bytes
or 500 x 120 pixels and under 30,000 bytes

Text only
Maximum of six lines of text (using standard height text).

If I see any sig over limits after a warning, I'll award the owner a three day holiday from the forums.
