Monsters don't need to hunt you down to be dangerous. People can die just from collateral damage. Let's say it shoots lasers at the hero's giant robot, but misses and hits a random building, causing it to collapse or blow up.

No it doesn't happen in real life. If you get punched like that and fall back on the ground you simply die.

Let's say the area was evacuated before the monster attacked. Not every anime is like Bio-Meat. (it's a manga but whatever)

I'm talking about how getting punched is something not hard to recover from (unless you're punched multiple times, or by a pro boxer). It's pretty much impossible for a regular person to send someone flying like in anime. It's a lot less amusing without the silly visuals. Again, I don't see why violence should be okay just because somebody might find it funny.

I'm having a hard time remembering any anime where they successfully evacuate people. Of course, the last "fighting monsters" show I finished was Symphogear, and the government/JSDF weren't very competent. (deaths weren't very focused on, but it's easy to assume that they happen, even when not shown, since we don't see people getting evacuated safely). And again, property damage.

Off point, but actually you would be really surprised how badly a couple of strong punches can fuck you up. What if you get hit in the neck or the temple? Its really not tough at all to lose a few teeth or break a nose. Also, in real life, if If it was like anime, and you got punched in the face and were sent flying.. chances are you've broken your neck and are quite dead.

I don't think that should ever happen or anime's point would be lost. And yeah, too many things that go with anime wouldn't be good for this planet...
