I was just killing time on Google between classes when I stumbled upon this! http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...en_tv_eo/13622

It says they are making 35 new episodes to start airing in 2005. Personally I think that Family Guy was by far the funniest show on television and was really pissed when I found out it was canceled.

Anyone else as happy as I am?!!

OMG familyguy > ALL .. I love family guy... I have my tivo tape (peterlaugh) "tape" (/peterlaugh) family guy all the time... i got my family into it, and they know praise me for it.. Yup... Ahh life is good when your watching family guy with the family ^_^

hmmmm, i thought they canceled the series because all the voices and writers died in a tour bus acciedent, guess not.

I hope this show will be the bullet that finally puts to rest that wounded horse of a show called "the simpsons"

I actually herd the simpsons was threatened by it, so they simply bought the show and cancelled it. Anyone know what reallyl happend (some of you greater family guy fans)?

I'm pretty sure they cancelled it due to controversy regarding its content (the racial issues that came up sometimes etc.)

No all those are just rumors. The fact is that they cancelled Family Guy because it just wasent bringing in the ratings. But after its HUGE success in DVD sales and in its popularity on other tv stations after it was cancelled Fox decided to bring it back for another try.

The only episodew they didn't show on Fox was that one where Peter got a Jew to get his money back(from that guy that sold him volcano insurance). It's cool that they showed it on Adult Swim.

That episode was funny.

Family Guy is like the funniest show on TV, it's only second to Chappelle's Show.

Just as long as there is more stewie, everything will be ok. Im curious as to if the original voice case will still be around ?

Considering, Peter, Brian, Stewie, Quagmire, and a bunch of assorted voices are done by Seth Macfarlane alone!...I'd say we won't have to worry too much.

Seth is actually more worried about getting most of the original writers back.
