.. I have all long players from Dido.
I also love to listen to Rammstein. And to classical. Tchaikovsky's 1812 just rocks! The finale with the cannons .. awesome. Beethoven also has some really great stuff. Pop-wise .. hmm I do like the music of Madonna and Lady Gaga, even so they're plain crazy people. Also, I normally don't put any of my japanese music in a playlist of a party or simple friend gathering. There are a few exceptions, though. The "Bad apple" from Touhou and some nice rock songs like The Pillows. Guilty pleasures because; while I'm not ashamed of my music preferences, but depending on the people you talk to conversations get awkward easily XD And since I pretty much listen to all genres at least a little, I just have to have music in my collection other raise their eyebrows over. It's not a big deal, though. My mother still can't get over me liking classic. Whenever she hears me listening to it she gives me a look of disbelief and asks shocked "Seriously?! That's not music! <_<". She's more of a hard rocker. |

I like some incredibly crude and hardcore bands like Tenacious D or Mastodon, which might be considered normal for my gender (male) and age group.
But I also like some songs on the complete opposite of the spectrum. Most notable ones are "My Heart Will Go On" and "The Prayer" by Celine Dion. But with me it's not really certain bands I like, but rather I just pick out songs from all over the music industry that sound catchy and memorable to me when I hear them. While I do admit I would embarrased of listening to a song that wouldn't appear to suit me in a public place without headphones, I find my vast tastes over genre to be a good thing personally.

Well, that's more along the lines of good memories rather than a guilty pleasure in my case xD I mean I was also hit by the Boys Band trend 13-14 years ago, my favorite has always been Boyzone, everytime I hear of them, my fangirling spirit always resurfaces
I'm really saddened by Stephen's leave...R.I.P. Stephen you will always be remembered by your fans. I love many of their songs, and particularly this Tracy Chapman cover: Boyzone - Baby Can I Hold You

Barry Manilow Version
Can't Take My Eyes Off You You're just too good to be true I can't take my eyes off you You feel like heaven to touch I wanna hold you so much At last love has arrived And I thank God I'm alive You're just too good to be true I can't take my eyes off you Pardon the way that I stare There's nothing else to compare The sight of you leaves me weak There are no words left to speak So darling feel like I feel And I don't have to know if it's real You're just too good to be true I can't take my eyes off you I love you baby And if it's quite all right I need you baby to warm a lonely night I love you baby Trust in me when I say Oh pretty baby Don't bring me down, I pray Oh pretty baby Now that I've found you stay So let me love you baby Let me love you

For the 2000s, anything by Mika, he is just so FABULOUS. For more FABULOUS Then And One of the most distracting music video of the 2000s decade For the 1990s For the 1980s 1970s madness |

I'm not ashamed of anything I listen to, but I've noticed a bit of disapproval for:
Spice Girls (I'm a guy and for some reason, people find it unacceptable that I like them.) Scissor Sisters (same reason as Spice Girls) and funnily enough, the person above me mentioned, Mika. I'm a dude who listens to "gay" music. I love it though. It's all upbeat and fun. |

Without You What if I walked without you? What if I ran without you? What if I stand without you? I could not go on What if I lived without you? What if I loved without you? What if I died without you? I could not go on You left my side tonight And I, I just don't feel right But I, I can't let you out of sight Without you I'm no one, I'm nothing at all What if I lie without you? And what if I rise without you? And what if I dream without you? I could not go on You left my side tonight And I, I just don't feel right But I, I can't let you out of sight Without you I'm no one, I'm nothing at all Nothing at all
