Nanami was really surprised by Tomoe gesture.
On the other hand he was not happy to be a familiar again.
At least she managed to go to school to see that pop star guy.
Kurama sure was a jerk.
I was surprised at Tomoe's kind heart.
Looks like he has it in him... when he wants to.
Interesting how she managed to win over Kurama.
She'll probably start collecting other youkai too ^^

I'm liking this anime a lot with just the first 2 episodes. It's charming, funny and I'm always a sucker for supernatural romances.

Loving how Nanami trolls Tomoe and Tomoe trolls everyone else, as usual. There's few things as fun to watch in shoujo anime as poor, overworked bishounen.

A bit of topic, but while i was watching the intro i was curious about something. I seen this type of kimono worn a few times and was wondering if it was for a certain occasion or just regular clothing?

That's kimono worn with a type of hakama (it's designed for girls so it's worn differently than most other hakamas). This particular outfit was popular with schoolgirls in the late 19th-early 20th century, it's pretty much the iconic "schoolgirl uniform" from that era, though today this version is only worn at graduation ceremonies and the like. You can see it here and here, for example. There's a classic shoujo manga Haikara-san ga tooru whose main character, Benio is often shown wearing this outfit to the point where it's become iconic (actually it's referenced in both photos I linked). It's very likely that the screenshot above is also a reference to Benio.

Gah, sorry, I just noticed - the main character in Haikara-san is called Benio not Shinobu. Shinobu is her love interest.

I always mix their names up for some reason. orz

^Actually the impression I got was that the "special effects" that follow Kurama around aren't actually effects at all, it's his magic doing it for him (which would make it extra hilarious).

I, for one, would love to have the ability to turn water into alcohol. I'd make MILLIONS. 2. Does anyone else kinda feel sorry for the guys who need to follow Kurama around with buckets of dry ice and black feathers for whenever he walks into a room?

Spoiler for ep 3: The highlight was definitely Nanami finding a new way to control Tomoe - making him shake "hands" with the fish was hilarious. I do wonder what happened after the credits rolled, though. I mean, it's not like Kotarou had a chance against the two delinquents... ^^;; I wonder when the ED song will be out. Spoiler for thoughts on Episode 3: LOL at Tomoe frequently turning his opponents into food! Shaking hands with the fish was absolutely hilarious! Also yelling into Tomoe's ear which caused him to stun and become a frozen white block..... all those expressions were pure comedy! I'm loving Tomoe and Nanami's chemistry, although its the usual "sullen, reluctant handsome guy with an over-enthusiastic girl" combination. Perhaps it's the troll expressions they make which spice it up? Himemiko is so incredibly cute!! Next episode, Mizuki!! Let's see how Okamoto Nobuhiko brings this character to life

Spoiler for ep3: Tomoe turning his opponents into food is always a good laugh. I was ROFL when Tomoe shook hands with the fish, especially with his stunned expression all the while. So loving this series. The comedy is sweet and hilarious. Edit: It's ironically funny that the Lake Princess fell in love with Kotarou, who happened to be fishing at the time... How many episodes will this series have? I hope its long.
