I am trying to look something online but no one seems to have the answer, can anyone help?
From the anime, we see that people live on the Dyson shell. I don't see any anti-gravity, so I suspect they are built exactly 1G gravitational distance from the sun. But I don't know how far that is. Nothing come up on Google except one site that told people to do the math themselves. But I haven't done highschool math for years. So anyone help? How far away is the Dyson Shell from the centre of the sun needed to be to have 1g gravity for those living on the surface?

Awesome series. What I also love about this series is that the male characters are all voiced by nearly all my most favorite male seiyuus 8D
My favorite male seiyuus everywhere in this series~~~~ XP Spoiler for Spoiler 1:

Quote:
The actual structural issues of the Dyson sphere means you need fictitious Vibranium to make something that can sustain the stress. But if you CAN build it, then living on it is not hard. The internal shell supplies free solar power, and you get free 1G gravity.

Ep 1 has a hidden Easter egg.
Found by a 4chan poster: The book on the table is "From the Earth to the Moon Interactive" by Jules Verne. It is a humorous tale about some men who built a gun that launches a ship like a bullet to the Moon. http://er.jsc.nasa.gov/seh/chapter1.html

He was only the main writer of the first of those, so I wouldn't call that an accurate description. Not going to bother posting impressions yet, although I'll say they are mostly mixed, at least until the translation is available though. I guess it's become clear what the angle of approach is going to be here.
