Nothing so far on Watari's tweet or anywhere else I've seen. I'd imagine we'll get some sort of announcement on release of the 6.5 novel though, maybe.

Volumes 7-9 is more than enough for one cour, 9's a perfectly good place to end a season too. They could even do the .xx volumes in a OVA or the side stories in 7.5.

Novels end by volume 11, and side stories would ruin mood established by first season of anime. I can already hear complains about filler episodes. Better wait two or three seasons and get final product.

I'm still not sure where you're getting the source for volume 11 being the last one.

He still could finish last 2 volumes before winter or use drafts like Ichiro Sakaki will do with Hitsugi no Chaika S2(last volume would be published only in March).

Out of all the newer shows I loved this one the best, the main character was one of my favorites. I'm so glad we get to see the conclusion

Studio change was quite predictable. For some reason Brains Base don't make a sequels even for successful animes(unless it's Natsume). I don't mind actually. Feel. is decent studio for SoL/comedy animes although somehow unlucky.

About time we get some info on this. Idk how I feel about the studio change yet but definitely looking forward to it.

What's interesting is that feel. also animated Jinsei which is also based on a light novel from Gagaga Bunko, the same LN label as Oregairu.

Personally I didn't mind feel. much even with the studio and staff change. I have to wait to see how the visuals look like, but I already knew we will be ready for top quality artwork and background art which is the kind of aesthetics the studio excels at.

I'm also not sure what to think about the new staff - the animation will undoubtedly get better, but Brains Base already did such good job with the script that I don't know if the new staff can do the same.

well not so much...

Phh. In general feel's quality are much better than what Brains Base did with the first Ore Gairu. Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete is more like exception. They are not among the best but in general their animation are decent.

But the main scriptwriter is the same as on season one.
